"For years, I have been very happy to take the way to dinner at Spieker Inn. Beate and Franz Spieker are the 3rd generation. You have made a very good restaurant from the old village pub. Here you can not only enjoy the culinary abilities of Franz Spieker, which brings a beautiful combination of Mediterranean and Westphalian cuisine to the plate and offers a beautiful and diverse wine map. "Saturday 8:00 you have to reserve a table beforehand. The Fordkort is a pub with Gastwirtschafts Flair. The host is here program. Modern ambience and obese German cuisine. Currywurst, Pommes and Co. They are better somewhere else. Whoever orders a Rumpsteak is in the right place. Unusual menu and daily menu, with seasonal regional dishes becomes misdisplay. If it weren't the starter with baguette and herbs cucumber, then the main dishes would become too small. 5 stars for hospitality and culinary art in an original-big place."

"Were there via Pentecost 2012 with two persons. Nice place everything as good as unfortunately the cook had to do too much. We waited about 65min for our food. To our question why so long came out of service The others also wait for a smaller menu and a holiday card would have avoided that. The host obviously tried... An experience of special kind...Male what other..."

"Hatten spontan Dienstagmittags Lust auf italienisches Essen und waren zu Besuch in Hövelhof. Don Calzone war am kürzesten weg, also dachten wir uns wir probieren das mal. Tja, was soll ich sagen. Selten so gut gegessen !!! Ich und meine Begleitung hatten beide Nudeln. Einmal überbacken und einmal in Pesto. Wow, wirklich gut gemacht. Ordentliche Portion, für einen absolut fairen Preis. Nettes Ambiente am Markt mit Wasserspiel im Hintergrund. Zuvorkommende Bedienung (die weiß was sie macht selbst kleine Luftverwedeler gegen Interessierte Fliegen oder Wespen im Aussenbereich waren zur Hand. Auch der Chef und gleichzeitig Koch war ein netter Mann mit dem man auch noch nen „Schnack“ halten konnte. Rundum, eine absolute Empfehlung. Ich/wir kommen definitiv wieder. Klasse"
