There was also a strong smell of incense throughout the restaurant. Despite these issues, we had a pleasant evening, and the staff deserves special praise. The food here is amazing, simple as that. Five of us ate (mates from work) all choosing different mains and naans. Every single one of us said it was in the top 10 Indian meals we’d ever had. The food was delicious and you could taste every individual ingredient. I must also make a point about the dips for the popadoms, I know it’s not the main part of the meal, but they were AMAZING. I had an outstanding experience on Sunday (or Wednesday) during the banquet evening, which included a starter, prawns, rice, and bread all for £12. The food was delicious, with rich sauces and well-seasoned dishes. While the lamb starter was a bit chewy, I thoroughly enjoyed my vegetarian options. One of the highlights of the visit was the dedicated staff, who provided excellent service and created a wonderful atmosphere, making it a delightful experience in this informal and friendly restaurant.

My partner and I decided to have an impromptu date night while we were passing through Towcester. We received a warm welcome at the door and placed our orders with no issues. The food arrived promptly and was excellent; my wife even had leftovers to take home, which she enjoyed for lunch the next day. The portion sizes were generous. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. When it came time to pay, we found the bill to be quite reasonable, especially considering the price increases at other places. If we find ourselves in this area again, we'll definitely be stopping by.
