Really good culinary experience that I think is better than another fine restaurant not far away. Absolutely brilliant 7 course tasting menu, although the second desert was a bit hard to finish. Come back 5*

Incredible restaurant! Food was fabulous (we had the tasting menu and wine pairing) wine was lovely and indeed perfectly paired. Service impeccable, special shout out to Adam, who was just amazing and lovely. 100% going back!

Fabulous food, so delicious and was absolutely phenomenal value for money. Drinks were great and the staff was nice, so friendly and professional. I really had a fantastic dinner and evening here. Come back in any case if I'm next in Newcastle!!

Well that was an experience! The food here is absolutely fantastic and the service from Adam was second to none. Really great time and the food is worth every penny. Wine is expensive which is a shame, however plenty of bars in the area. Takes American Express.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The food was lovely, and you can tell it was made with care and attention to detail. The serving staff were great and very knowledgeable. The décor was great and the whole vibe of the place was chilled and relxed. Highly recommended.

A true foodie destination, Dobson and Parnell offer a superb dining experience. Expertly crafted courses with perfectly selected wine accompaniments, interrupted only by delightful amuse-bouche delivered by smooth but prompt staff who are friendly, knowledgeable and confident. An all-round perfect dining experience.

Roast verdict lamb dinner, meat perfectly portioned and cooked. Very delicate with little fat. Vegetables were all delicious and wonderfully cooked. Roasties were amazing and flower cheese was beautiful aswell. Gravy was a little too runny, but still delicious. Could have done a little more veg. Good dinner here I enjoyed 9/10 strawberries on a strawberry mousse. beautiful dessert was no Moussey texture at all. Small piece on small side too. An exceptional place with exceptional gourmet food and exceptionally pleasant service. We felt welcome from the moment we entered in and were genuinely cared for throughout our dinner. The 5 piece tasting set each portion was simply a blessing for the palate. It's great that the chef took care and offered appropriate drink for each serving all the chef's choices were perfect. Although it's not the cheapest place in the city, the quality of food, personnel attention and pleasant aftertaste after all makes it a great place to visit again and again.

Loved my evening here. The service was superb and the food was among the best I’ve tasted. We tried the tasting menu which absolutely did not disappoint. Every course hit the spot for me bar 1 which was the fiancé’s fave (so absolutely this was down to personal taste). Tasting menu didn’t often feel like it was ‘trying’ to be clever. Not sure I can find the words to do the experience justice. But will try! Tasting menu felt like it had structure. Starting with an enticing cheese and pickle doughnut which was superb and then moving through a fish course which was light and well balanced and on to what felt like the main event in the beef with artichoke purée.
