"Das Pastis gehört mittlerweile zu eine der Adressen "Restaurants, die man in Saarlouis besucht haben muss". Immer wieder wurden wir als "Zugezogene" darauf aufmerksam gemacht DORT essen zu gehen.Wir waren nun auch schon ein paar Mal dort. Es ist wirklich eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre...aber für unseren Geschmack wird es doch zu überbewertet. Die Speisen sind zwar alle nett angerichtet, zum größten Teil auch sehr gute Qualität, jedoch fehlt irgendwie das richtige Timing, wann die einzelnen Gänge serviert werden sollen. Das macht das Ganze dann oft ungemütlich. Mit dem Fleisch haben wir wie schon in einer anderen Bewertung erwähnt leider auch schon 3x nicht so gute Erfahrung gemacht. Da es es jedes Mal das Filet war, werden wir auf diese Auswahl in Zukunft dort verzichten. Wein ist uns auch die letzten Male etwas zu warm gewesen, aber ansonsten ist es dort wirklich nett. Mehr leider nicht."

"Wie sind im Februar 2017 zum ersten Mal in das Restaurant Kalimera Essen gegangen, da das Restaurant auch gut bewertet war.Der Service war nett, aber das Essen leider mangelhaft. Wir hatten den Vorspeisenteller, der mit Salatblättern dekoriert war die nicht richtig geputzt und an den Ecken braun waren. Akls Hauptspeise hatten wir überbackenes Gyros bestellt. Überbacken war das Gyros in der Form dass sich in der Mitte ein Teelöffel verlaufener Käse befunden hat. Die Metaxasauce war ohne Geschmack, so dass mit Salz und Pfeffer nachgefüllt werden musste, das Fleisch wirkte nicht frisch. Der Beilagensalat war wiederum nicht richtig geputzt und die Salatblätter teilweise braun.Leider nützt es dann nichts wenn die Bedienung nett ist, wenn das Essen leider schlecht ist. Die guten Bewertungen kann ich nicht bestätigen, wir werden nicht mehr dort Essen gehen."

"This restaurants ratings are way too high. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice, however the food and service were just ok. My husband, my daughter and myself ordered a meal for two (appetizers, salads, meat, etc.) The salads were good, the lamb was cooked very nicely, however the gyro meat was substandard and very dry. We were given Ouzo upon ordering and would have preferred not to have it b/c we were having a glass of wine with our meal and not trying to get drunk. After the meal they gave us some fruity liquor which we also did not drink. The meal was expensive and the food did not meet our expectations. However, the ambiance was very nice. Perhaps, ordering an individual portion of something instead of a "sharer platter" would have been a better choice on our part."

"We stayed at the Lava Grill in Saarlouis last night again for dinner, and felt the restaurant experience as well as our first visit 2 years ago, in total as okay, but not as outstanding. In addition to a selection of à la carte dishes, you can also choose an All you can eat Barbecue, where you grill your food yourself on spits over a lavasteingrill prepared in the table. For this purpose, a selection of marinated meat pieces (including pig, beef, chicken and an exotic, with us yesterday kangaroo) as well as various vegetables and supplements (pommes, walnut salad and green salad). The taste and quality of the dishes served for the barbecue was fine, refurbishment came very quickly upon request. Also the dishes à la Carte were tastefully and qualitatively fine. However, we feel that the price of the barbecue is too high, and, alternatively, additional supplements should be provided. The restaurant offers a nice ambience, the high number of grills you smell, thanks to the deductions over the tables, not excessive. The staff was as friendly as possible, but had something to be missed and always had to be addressed. Regarding the barbecue experience, the restaurant is fundamentally recommended, but too high expectations are not met from our point of view."
