Food was amazing! Steak cooked to perfection. Our whole group of four had all good things to say about the drinks, food and service. The place was spotless too!

I tried the sizzling sweet and sour chicken and it was delicious. However, I think it would be better if the chips were served on the side as they got a bit soggy. The service was good too.

Lovely local friendly pub. Good atmosphere, wonderful service and exceptional food. Had the roast dinner for main and it was delicious, Yorkshire pudding was like a UFO, gravy phenomenal and lots of it. Can't wIt to come back.

We had an amazing meal at this restaurant last Wednesday night. The local produce was cooked beautifully and the service was very friendly. This is definitely one of the top 10 pubs in the north! We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

This is one of my favourite places to eat out. The food is always cooked to perfection, and there's plenty of choice without affecting the quality, and they change the menu quite often. It does get busy so definitely book in advance, and sometimes this means you can wait a little longer for your food, but it's well worth the wait! Visualizza piatti

a group of 12 went here (6 adult 6 children) and it was nice to eat and much of it. great bistro bubble with a beautiful atmosphere and in a stunning location. I had lamb shank that fell from the bone and tasted amazingly. my wife had the trout and it was as good as anything they would get in a supermarket city restaurant. the children had built their own burgers and were beautiful. can not recommend very enough and ideal if you stay at hillside camping

Top-class food. spoilt for selection menu and specials. I had the lamb and it was perfectly cooked, but tender from the bone and delicious. I chose kartoffeln and veg and it came with gravity. all exquisite for an incredibly good price. the house merlot went well down. good service, nice people. in any case come back here. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. we were also allowed to bring our very well-behaved golden retriever into the bar where she laid under our table like the great dog she is.

The food is always really good here and was very impressed today with the quality and generous portions (especially the amount of meat in the roast dinner), the sticky toffee pudding was also delicious. Only things that let it down was the overcooked squid starter but would still go again as this is the only dish I have ever disliked here in years. Even though it was a very busy evening with a full restaurant there was still someone there to meet you and the staff were very helpful and polite and did their very best to get around to everyone for orders with the food arriving fairly quickly.
