"We asked the waitress for suggestions on the various types beef and she was not able to explain them to us. She just pointed (on the back of the menu) the positions of the cuts. Then we asked for the best meat they have, she...left to ask someone (maybe the kitchen chef) and when she come back she suggested to take the porterhouse (1100 gr) without explaining that this is a special dry aged beef. We did not like this special kind of meat at all, we are not expert of it, so we cannot judge the quality. When the steak arrived, we have been surrounded by flies since the rubbish bin was not so far away. We ordered a bottle of chianti classico that was very nice, however the price of the bottle is not in the menu. After paying the bill we asked to speak with the kitchen chef who was very friendly and explained us the type of meat we had. It could have been a perfect dinner if he explained it when we ordered the steak. The restaurant is cozy and the staff is friendly but it is not located in a nice street (we had dinner outside). I think that the high prices cannot just reflect the quality of the meat but also the service and the location. At the end we came up with a bill of 180€ for a steak (that we did not like) a superb wine and a bottle of water. The dinner was definitely not worth the money! For the price there are plenty of better options in Karlsruhe."

amazing eating and super friendly service! the new York style bark was made perfect and the sweet kartoffel fries super crisp the prices are really high for a German restaurant

the ambiente is very nice, suitable for couples with also separate prove as for business chef/dinner in a quiet ambiente. not much choice in the menu, but eating has a good qaulity and well cooked.

OMG ... we had the porterhouse steak, sweet potatoes cocktails and a Kilikanoon Shiraz. Sensational!!!! Loved it everything was well to the point! Definitely one of the best restaurants in Karlsruhe!

I think that the price should match quality Overpriced cuts of beef with no accompanying sides Saying that , the vegetarian burger was good Another gripe is that the sweet potato fries were a bit overdone

Nice ambiance. Excellent Pinot Noir. We had the Bluefin Tuna and a 300gr Angus Beef Steak. Well and with taste prepared. Together with the Avocado salad a great dish and a joyful diner. Little dark but cozy place. Try yourself!

they are excellent, product quality, taste and combination, sp. for very beautiful ambiente, excellent eating and refined presentation. family-friendly restaurant, although I have not seen too many children <5 years. can be very good at the late arrival time. happy to revise in future.

My wife and I visited this nice restaurant today. We had a tasteful dinner in a friendly atmosphere. The service was excellent. This is a place for meat lovers, even though some fish and vegetarian dishes existed on the menu. Both dishes, a deluxe Trüffel...burger and the tenderloin steak were perfectly done. The bottled wine list contained mainly European wines in a wide price range. The number of wines offered per glass was limited, but with sufficient taste range. It should be noted that the prices are in the upper range but if you appreciate a enjoyable dinner in a stylish environment; this is the place!
