the decor, the cake and the personal could easily convince in the few minutes we were there! for time reasons, there were only cakes to go, but even when packing, the service was a lot of effort. tastefully every piece was top - next time we bring more time and put ourselves to one of the tables.

So lovely to find a café that still serves homemade cakes made on the premises and not mass produced in a central bakery that supplies dozens of outlets. The owner lived in the UK for ten years and produces beautifully creamy cheesecakes, pies and crumble-topped fruit cakes. The interior is welcoming and cheery with teapot shaped lamps and cushions that encourage you to linger. Well worth the effort of leaving the city centre for and a little taste of home.
