The HappyCow app led us to a fantastic cafe in Langley Moor. It's great to see more vegan options popping up in the North East UK. The atmosphere was extremely pleasant and the staff were delightful. My wife and I enjoyed a coconut Americano coffee and carrot cake. The coffee, made from Peruvian beans, was full of flavor and delicious. However, the carrot cake was the star of the show, with a melt-in-your-mouth moist texture and a coconut cream icing that was out of this world. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Gorgeous ethical shop and predominantly vegetarian vegan cafe on Langley Moor front street on the outskirts of Durham of all places. They have an excellent range of ethical toiletries including hand gels and shampoos and a fill up station for detergents. Vegan food items such as pulses, grains, flours, nut butters, fresh bread and plant milks are readily available. If you’re lucky they may even have some Tyne Chease tucked away in the fridge. We popped in for a couple of hot drinks, a snack and some vegan cake. The smashed avocado on soda bread was delicious and excellent value at £3.
