Great food, good service and polite staff. The food was delicous, I wanted to try everything. The service was snappy and responsive. Would recommend.

But that was in the past. Birmingham has transformed significantly over the years, especially this area of Edgbaston and the inner city. While many of the office buildings remain, the neighborhood has evolved into a culinary hotspot, featuring places like Rofuto, which leads down to the Highfield, Simpsons, and Blue Piano. Autumn has definitely arrived in Birmingham, and while I enjoy a spooky season and a pumpkin-flavored latte as much as anyone else, there's one thing I just can't get used to: the lack of daylight. Visited for a Painting and Sangria night with a group of colleagues and we had an excellent night! The Sangria was fab (they offer a non alcoholic strawberry cocktail as an alternative), tapas absolutely delicious (and in very generous portions) and the painting class was super fun and you get to take the painting you do home with you after. Such a great idea for an evening out that was different but made for a great night! We will definitely be returning for dinner and possibly another Painting class.
