"gustav green is such a great vegan restaurant invention! the ingredients are so fresh and well seasoned. they can choose between a box and a roll. both are super tasty and super saturating. the basic is vegan kebab, schiwarma, keile or falafel. all other ingredients (including dips and hummus) can be chosen freely and are all sooo delicious!"

"We went to this pub on a thursday night to celebrate a leaving do, about 8-10 people. I honestly wish somebody had told me about this place earlier, as the atmosphere is great, and it really reminds me of a good old style irish pub. It's very close to TU Dortmund, where decent food places are rare (alternatives to the cantine I mean . Well, the service is very friendly and personal (but not fast! , and they have cider, which is a massive bonus for me. Unfortunately the food, although nice enough, is anything but traditional irish or english, but a mismatch of tex-mex, pizza and Flammkuchen... trying to please everyone. My spicy Flammkuchen was quite good. Baguettes and enchiladas seemed a bit heavy, but fine. I will be back!"

"Certainly would eat here again. This is an 'all you can eat' shushi restaurant that was recommended by a friend who we were visiting and lives locally.We came for a lunchtime sitting with our young family (one 18 months and another 5 years) and friend. The restaurant itself is rather hidden in the back streets and certainly not likely to be on the main beaten path of many tourists. When we arrived there were not many others eating and the interior is deciptive with more seating hidden around corners (We had originally thought it was empty). The interior is pleasant, with tables of dark wood, glass covered with the odd sushi model placed under the glass which intrigued our little 'uns. As you go in, you go past the location where the sushi is made and if you want you can watch the fascinating process. We were offered a high chair for our youngest which we took advantage of, although he preferred sitting on my lap for the occassion (Incidentally the toilets are decent and situated down some stairs. There was a portable baby change placed outside the toilets themselves, but it is JUST the change mat. So you'd need to go into the toilets themselves to wash hands, etc). Service we found was top notch and very quick. Almost instantenous sometimes! Our friend commented that even when busy the longest he ever had to wait was 5 minutes for something to turn up. Menus are offered in German and English (helpful for a non-German speaking individual like me) and presented with images of each item of food as well you get an impression of what it is going to be like. The lunch time menu differs slightly from the evening menu in that there is slightly less on offer, which from my point of view this meant things like eel and Queen scallop were not available when you browsed the 'additional evening section'. The menu was well organised and divided into sushi, salads and soups, hot items, drinks, evening additional options and extras (a few sashimi side dishes and one of lightly cooked scallops. Each a few euros extra). Ordering was different and certainly interesting for all of us (especially the children) as it's by a customised iPad/table PC. At the time of writing the buffet system works by allowing each person the opportunity to order upto 6 items each per round at lunch time (5 per person per round in the evening). So for us we were able to select upto 24 items each round (you can order more than one of each item each time if you want). Although 10 rounds are stated as maximum you can have more. Once you've sent off your collective order there is a 5 minute cool down before you can order again. Drinks are not included in the buffet price. Once ordered food is delivered quickly and as it becomes ready, so don't expect to wait for it all to become ready at the same time. From sushi I've had before this was certainly some of the nicest and also a good selection (combinations of tuna, salmon, butter fish, advocado, omlet, fish roe, etc). Wasabi is not used as standard (as I've come across at some places), but can be ordered as a side dip. Portion size can be deceptive, such that the portions you get with the hot food are larger and more filling than expected.All you can eat is certainly the case and as a group we only survived 3 rounds, but that was 48 items we worked our way through between us in those first two rounds. The third round becoming exclusively icecreams and banana fritters for desert (not sure how anybody even had space for those)"

"pizza regina is more than just the usual pizzeria for running customers. there is a small but cozy dining room and in the summer an outside area to the high road with biertischen and sun umbrellas. the food has a clear restaurant character and is consistently of good quality. fresh ingredients and a very nice servive, I suspect family business.The pizza ruccola is why I prefer because it is our favorite dish. the doughy crispy, the **** with parmaschinken luxuriant and with the parmesan from the hob. but also other dishes are consistently very tasty and prepared with fresh ingredients.The presi performance ratio is very good. in any case a real competition to the trattoria. the one with the more Italian cuisine, but just pizzeria. the other with the larger larger one in multiple view and the more beautiful ambiente."

"we are now regularly in namu and know why. the menu consists of authentic Korean dressing and is varied. about it are not too many words lost, because everyone in the internet can get a picture of it. the service is very friendly and helpful when asking all art. top. eating is excellent quality. every single dish we have ordered so far was appealing from the taste profile, roundly seasoned and cooked in all the elements exactly on the point. the portion sizes are, according to most Southeast Asian cultures, somewhat smaller than the carving in the average German pub - but for this it is fresh and does not come deep frozen into the frituse. And so far all have become rich. Conclusion - for this namu I can say an unrestricted recommendation. it certainly belongs among the top 5 restaurants in the room theremund."

"We were in Dortmund for a football match. Stayed the whole weekend. Experienced the people (wonderful), game (fantastic) and town in general (small but diverse and fun). Overall a great experience. We went to Nhy Star on Friday evening. The vibe in the place is...bright and energetic and people all seemed to be having a nice time. The food was good (above average but not great by any means). We got three different apps and three different entres all were solid and tasty. Wine/spirit list could have been more expansive, but that wasn't the end of the world. Service was quite slow, even for Europe (we are from the US). I would normally cut them some slack as they were pretty busy, but our table was right in the middle of where all the servers walked there was no excuse not to have been more attentive (again, even for Europe). Overall, it was a nice dining experience, though the service was a negative. But c'mon TripAdvisor community: BEST IN THE CITY ??????????? We had other meals that were better than this, including a curry at half the price from a little family place that was out of this world. Anyway, I'm not a hater but I'm struggling to use TripAdvisor when the ratings and reviews are so at odds with my experiences. Bottom line: sure give it a try but don't make a special trip."

"Mein absoluter Lieblingsitaliener in Dortmund und die beste Lasagne die man bekommen kann.Hier wird man immer freundlich empfangen, es gibt eine tolle Auswahl an Weinen, im Sommer kann man draußen sitzen, das Lokal ist wunderschön eingerichtet und der Gastgeber gibt einem das Gefühl bei Freunden zu Besuch zu sein.Der Laden ist klein und romantisch, gerade am Wochenende sollte man besser vorher reservieren. In den Kochbereich kann man reinschauen und wenn die Köche an den Pfannen hantieren, sieht man schonmal die ein oder andere Flammen aufleuchten. Alles sehr authentisch. Die Karte ist gut sortiert und abgesehen von der Lasagne, kann ich besonders die leckeren Vorspeisen empfehlen. Außerdem gibt es eine ständig wechselnde Spezialkarte. "Wondered what to have for dinner with my co-worker when we were travelling for business in Dortmund. Saw the good review on TripAdvisor about this place, and it was not disappointing. The location is very convenient, right next to the city center. The place is...nice and spacious and the service is good. The food is authentic to certain extend, with somewhat adapted to local's taste. I liked the pho tai, as it was hearty for a chill evening. We also ordered shrimp summer rolls and duck with fried rice. They are less delicious, as the rolls were a bit sticky and i didn't like the sauce that much. And the duck dish was all in all okay, just a bit too much salt. Apart from that, not much to complain."
