Friendly staff, great views, perfect simple food! We loved the goats cheese salad and bread with aioli. Fab and lived off it for our holiday !!!!!

excellent place right at the end of portanax. beautiful fresh food with a fantastic view. she saw most of the afternoon. we are free this afternoon. local and brilliant

After a day on the beach we sat here and watched the sun with drinks. managed to sit on the beach to finish our experience. the food was great and the service was excellent. that is spectacular and we were so satisfied. we visited.

the lunch here, very good value for eating ie for grilled sardines and salat. service, from the owners was a bit too eager for me, a bit spoiled. my drink was euro for a little weinglas orange juice .a bit mean! probably good quality, louise price. determined not to go back for dinner.

we enjoyed two good evening meal here well price and delicious eating. large unmatched service from the personal and beautiful to sit directly on the water rim when the sun goes down. everything on the menu is not always available as it seems. from dingen, so have recommended a reserve choice in the eye.

Had a few meals here because it was just over the road from the hotel. The food is average at best, the last time I ordered Red Mullet one was fresh and the other was old with grey looking flesh, mussels were good but steak...was the worst we had in Portinatx. The waiting staff are scruffy and noisy at times and the kitchen staff are Chinese. Be careful siting next to the water at night, it quickly gets cold when the sun goes down.

We’ve been coming here for many years now and the very high standard doesn’t alter. The manager in charge is a really friendly chap and always very welcoming. As are the rest of the staff. For the last three years, by sheer coincidence, we’ve arrived...and had the same table just by chance. Large tables and all under cover of canopies but open air. I always order the garlic prawns with half bottle of wine. The bread is always fresh and the fries go well with it all. Lovely setting either inside or one of the tables next to the beach. All highly recommended. See you all again

We were staying at a nearby hotel, after dinner we took a walk up to the shops and then down to the beach/cove. On the beach to the right there’s a beach bar/tiki type bar and a large parking area just behind it. We took...the steps down to the ‘ El Puerto ‘, we waited a few mins before a table became available where we could watch the sun going down. Friendly staff served us with menus, a liter jug of fresh Sangria was ordered plus a couple of draft Spanish beers. Their menu is typical for the area, plenty of fresh fish dishes, great pizza’s and of course paella and much more. It's always difficult when some contributors rate a restaurant with stars based upon a hamburger! It's a f'ing hamburger. Food and the eating out experience is important to us particularly as we are both good cooks who enjoy something different and presentation when we...cook for ourselves. To business then. We have been on the island for three years. Most of it is rubbish (ridiculous prices) with even the fancy' joints not even having a chef. I mean, chef' and not good cook.
