"Last night my wife and I visited Fayrouz Garden. We brought our children, 4 and 8 years old. We sat outside with the kids playing in the large courtyard. The restaurant was almost empty, only 3 tables including ours with customers. A woman later identified as the owner took our order from my wife. But, while I was distracted with the kids, I noticed she returned three times to our table. I asked my wife why. It turns out this woman was aggressively instructing my wife to order for the children. My wife explained the kids had already eaten, but this woman refused to take no for an answer. When the woman approached my wife for a fourth time, I walked up to her and calmly asked she stop bothering my wife, the kids had eaten, we were dining for two only. At that moment the woman exploded with rage. It was crazy. She started yelling and screaming, telling us to leave. She frantically began gathering everything on our table. We were flabbergasted. For the life of me I could not understand what had happened to that woman. She was out of control. I walked into the restaurant and spoke to a man who also said he is an owner. I guess they work as a husband-wife team. He didn 't want to hear my story. He said, You have a table for four but only two people are dining. Huh? The restaurant was almost empty! We have two children who already ate! He wanted none of this and simply stated, Leave the restaurant. That was a bizarre, upsetting and emotionally humiliating experience. Needless to say we won 't go back there again. But, what really upsets me is the fact we were perhaps model customers. Well-behaved kids. Full dinner orders for my wife and I. Giving them business at a time things are slow during coronavirus. Civilized, quiet and polite. What we got was a crazed woman who shot like a rocket into a hate-filled hysteria, nonsensical and very rude. I am very sorry we had that experience."

Magnificent experience, very pleasant service, warm atmosphere, excellent cuisine, I went to lots of Lebanese restaurants, this one is clearly the best, I recommend 1000%!

We was with company in these restaurant, was expecting nice food and atmosphere; but was see awful behaviour from staff and cheef; food was not hot and pieces very small; not recommended

The restaurant is really nicely decorated and friendly. The waitress was very nice and responsive. We ordered 2 mezze and a main meal. Everything was delicious. We enjoyed the food and the ambience of the restaurant. We definitely recommend it! Visualizza piatti

Great food, we went mid week and were persuaded to try the tasting menu. Food was really tasty, possibly the best Lebanese food i have had, the only problem was that the food just kept coming and coming and did not quite go together. It would work better if they paced it better. Bowls and bowls and bowls of food kept arriving, and then 30min after we had finished, a final dish arrived that we simply could not eat. Really tasty food, just a bit disorganised.

We had known Lebanese food through street kebabs, falafel hummus, etc. So trying a full, truly Lebanese meal was a wonderful introduction! We had a huge "Assortment Royal” for 2 comprising of 17 mezzes (a cultural surprise not unlike Dutch-Indonesian rice table). The food was excellent, very moist, tasty, nicely spiced, fresh and plentiful. A great plus was the outdoor terrace seating shaded by a huge old tree on a pedestrian walk, well away from traffic. As an extra, we enjoyed tasting Lebanese wine and Mehalabye for desert (a cypriot pudding made with milk and corn flour, with crushed pistachio and rose water syrup).
