"in my third bremerhaven day, I am still in the joy of getting to know the current favorite restaurant of my family. the hotel is located in the center of Langen-Geestland, a small town near bremerhaven, in the interior of the newly designed Lindenhof-Center is the restaurant “Sealand”, which was opened in May 2015 by peter giese, which has many years of experience in fish restoration. from januar 2014 he rented his restaurant until then on the keilstraße in bremerhaven, because he wanted to lead a quiet economic existence. but then this approach did not last long, herr giese rented a former physiotherapy practice, let walls tear out, rebuild, redesigned and came a restaurant where you can feel very comfortable. simple, dark wood tables and chairs/wood benches that are provided with yellow padding. each four with two white table runners made of fabric, as deko a thick candle in a high glass vessel, a combined salt/pepper mill, square and transparent, with a glass vessel with two filigree and sound to which one does not see that they are made of plastic. this is complemented by a high quality fish cutlery and brown paper napkins that look like fabric napkins and feel almost like that. the room is bright, few large pictures with sea and boots decorate the walls, and the total looks very stylish. we feel comfortable and have also contributed to the competent gas-to-use service. when we entered the lunch restaurant, we were very kindly greeted by the two service women and quickly received the menu and the attached DIN-A-4 sheet with lunch dishes. also orally we were offered a pumpkin cream soup for 2,90 €, which was not on the menu. we immediately expressed our drinks, a 0.3 cola for 2,80 € and a rombacher alcohol-free (2,80 € for me. from the menu it can be seen that Northern German fish specialities, from tense to fine, are in the foreground, but there is also a offer for non-fishers. everything is freshly prepared. the drink card is not too large, but offers a sufficient variety. desserts, coffees and perfumes add the offer. for me I ordered as an appetizer the offered pumpkin cream soup and as a main dish from the lunch card: roasted gold barschfilets dressed on sheet spinat, with a merrettich sauce and naped with new forest salt potatoes (instead of which I ordered bratkartoffeln, at the price of €9.90 the pumpkin cream soup was very creamy! when the fish bowl was served on well heated teller, I ran out of the eyes the water in the customer: the gold barley fillets with slightly fried crust, on the point cooked, nicely firm, with the fish knife easy to share, the leaf spinat could be perfect from the consistency, the seasoned, with a very light haze garlic, the brittle the Merrettich. my sister had decided to fried for North Sea limandesfilets in eihull, with bratkartoffeln and mixed seasonal salat, as a small part for 11,90 € in addition she asked for a part of the self-made remoulade that was not calculated (very customer-friendly.)! she expressed her praise for the taste and the quality of her and wondered if I could understand now. I could! conclusion: fresh products, a lot from the region, high quality, a very good plv, more competent, the gasted service, everything fits, clear recommendation!"
