Food was delicious, delivery on time however we’ve ordered kebabs with sauces and they weren’t included. Delivery guy said something is for free, ordered from Uber foods and they showed free garlic bread for orders over £15, therefore we did not receive that. Food is okay however without sauces dry.

Waited 2 flipping hours and they couldn’t deliver. Then they ended up saying it’s been delivered when nothing has. One of the worst places to go and clearly they got a 3 star review for a reason. I can't verify the scam claims, but so many people have said it, that I would be aware of that. I don't think the type of person that comes here is exactly looking for fine dining. But even then, the food was very bad. The kebab was much too oily, even for kebab standards. There was no flavour at all, and the chilli sauce was terrible. More like ketchup than any decent chilli sauce. The chips were okay, but wasn't enough to save this at all.

I have now visited on two occasions and really enjoyed my food. On the first visit I had chicken kebabs with rice, chips and salad. GOOD portion sizes... It was tasty but the chicken to sides ratio could be better . The second time I tried the chicken burger freshly cooked, tasty, delicious! The service is good and the woman particularly is really tasty. Only thing I would add is it's a little overpriced for what it is ... but I guess you are paying broad street prices!

Food republic is conveniently located in the middle of Broad Street. It serves mainly kebabs. During my visit, I had the chicken kebab in naan and fries. The portion sizes are big but the food tastes bland and overall quality is not great. Moreover, what they call naan is actually some kind of ready-made wrap. Service is not that great as there’s a wait for the food staff are not polite. I was also not given my 1 pence change. I know it’s only a penny but as a matter of principle, I expect to be given the correct change. I would recommend to avoid Food Republic, unless if you are desperately hungry. Even if that were the case, there are plenty of other places to eat at in that area, for exam... Visualizza piatti
