Ganapati - Piatti

Delicious lunch!! This place is amazing, the food is so fresh and delicious. Brilliant service as well and reasonably priced.

I really enjoy Ganapati, from the mint tea through to the cardamom ice-cream. As another review stated: it's a little pricier than your 'average Indian'.

We ordered the chicken thali and thoroughly enjoyed the simple yet delicious meal. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and the service was warm and friendly. We definitely recommend it.

The starter was good and the meals weren't very great. But, the service isn't that great. We felt that we weren't taken care of well especially when we had to wait for half an hour for the bill.

The curries at this restaurant are amazing, and the roti bread that accompanies them is flaky and soft, making the meal even better. The atmosphere is great and it's obvious that this place is popular among locals who appreciate good food. Visualizza piatti

Visiting daughter in London for the weekend she insisted we try this restaurant . Well I’m so glad she did .. the food was amazing spicy but not too spicy very interesting menu. The special Brad was delicious for myself preferable to nana breads. The ambience was lovely cosy the service was great. Price pretty reasonable for London. Would most definitely recommend .

In July 2017, we had a great dining experience at this restaurant. However, I can no longer say the same. The vegetarian starters are still delicious, but the vegetarian main dishes were not exciting, and the fish curry was not as good as it was six years ago. It seems like the management is aware of this as they added a service charge to the bill for a table of just three, instead of leaving it up to the customer. Additionally, if the waiter is unsure about how a dish is prepared, it gives an indication of the type of clientele they now cater to.

We had food from here (takeaway) some time ago, which was delicious, with real attention to flavour. However, times pass, and things change, and now the Ganapati Takeaway Kitchen has either changed its chef or its recipes, and as with so many Indian restaurants it seems that chilli has become a substitute for real flavour. The Malabari chicken korma, which should have a richer softer flavour, was too spicy for my partner. My Kozhikode chicken curry was certainly hot yet uncomfortably so, without richness and depth of flavour (as context, I'm very fond of a good vindaloo). Added to this, the food is not cheap; mains at £12.50 and a total of £50 for 2 people makes this an expensive option. The... Visualizza piatti
