"I went to this restaurant today with my colleague. We saw only Google reviews and not TA reviews and that was a big mistake. The waiters were not so happy to see us. No smile no greeting no nothing. The complementary snacks were tasteless. We ordered for Dal Makhni and Matar Paneer and a Naan. Rice is complementary in every Indian restaurant in Munich. The Dal makhni was tangy and not upto the mark. Matar Paneer was okay. We ordered a Coke and a Lassi. Instead of giving us a Coke Can he poured some Coke from a 1.5 Litr botthe to a small glass and gave it to us. The Lassi was below average and not fresh as well. Try only if you have no option."

nice and calm place, food was excellent. This was my first time to try Indian food so I cannot compare it to others but I can tell if its good or bad. And this one was excellent. would try again for sure:)

The selection is standard indian, the food is delightful and prices are acceptable by Munich standards. The restaurant is fairly big so can become a little loud if it's busy but this is rare. Service is good.

Close to the Gastieg. Great Indian food and reasonable priced. Chicken Tikka, Tandoori Chicken, Pakodas and Samosas are great starters. Main course has abundant choice of vegetarian dishes. Service is great and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Visualizza piatti

And just as excellent as the first time. This time we were with more people, so we could share some starters. The veg pakora was delicious! Afterwards a lamb biryani, which was very tasty. The main dishes are not the biggest portions I have seen. But the quality makes good for that!

Awful service. Treated like burden ...waiter was very rude and no welcome Or hello when I entered even they noticed me coming in and searching place to sit . Food was ok but behaviour ruined everything. I have seen another customer leaving restaurant expecting thanks or a nice gesture from staff..but they left with bad experience same as me. It was also rude to collect plates right from my back..guy was literally collecting plates while his hand touching my ears !! Totally unprofessional..

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
