"What do you mean? First, I would like to emphasize the cleanliness of the place, although it is on the seaside. As for the servers, I was able to see that he was concerned with doing well (respectful, listening to requests, smiling and passing) and this is very pleasant. "Great value for money in the centre of Hyeres, the pizzas are very good and the combo with salad options makes it a perfect option for a healthy but yummy dinner. The wines are very good and the desert like the fruit ice creams are a great final sweet touch. "Habituée à cet endroit depuis que j'y habite, c'est à dire 6ans et le non Professionnalisme se dégrade d'année en année. Je dis bien AUCUN n'est polie ni sympathique alors que jai le contact très facile. Très longue attente pour des café souvent froid (ah oui des qu'il y a du monde ils sont perdu, ne demander surtout pas des sucrettes, vaut mieux aller les chercher seule directement au bar). Je lui demande une serviette et la serveuse me répond "je ne suis pas un distributeur de serviette"; cest intolérable de dire une chose pareille et grâce à cette très gentil femme je ne reviendrai plus jamais, je le déconseillerai à tous mes amis. Ce sera pareille pour les gâteau d'anniversaire ... bah nous nous sommes pas à distributeur de fric pour des gens très très incompétent .En ce qui concerne de ma nourriture/glace, rien d'exceptionnel mais ça reste quand même bon; je n'ai pas trop de reproche à faire sur ce point. En revanche, je vous conseil de mieux choisir vos équipes souvent trop jeunes et incompétentes. En gros n'y aller que pour manger (cest malheureux)"

"Etant à Hyères pour une formation professionnelle, l'employée de l'hotel où nous étions ayant entendu que nous voulions sortir manger dehors nous a conseillé cet établissement. Bien lui en a pris. L'endroit est très sympa, décontracté et assez spacieux. Nous avons opté pour les deux canapés à l'entrée plutôt que les tables. On a commencé par boire un coup avant de passer commande. Fish & chips pour ma collègue et Tartare italien cru pour moi accompagné de frites maisons délicieuses. Le volume de la musique est monté juste ce qu'il faut et de très bons goût (du moins ce sont les miens ;-) ). Les prix sont corrects et le service impéccable. Bref une bonne soirée."

"We visited this restaurant on a wet lunchtime and, having read previous reviews, our expectations were high. The staff were welcoming and the decor, with lots of cleverly displayed driftwood, was pleasing. The unfortunate choice of frenetic rap music as a background to the meal did nothing to enhance our experience.From the limited 'Carte' (no set menu available), we chose a New Delhi salad and an Assiette Asiatique. Each dish was nicely presented and the various Asian specialities were quite tasty, apart from the chicken on a skewer , which was tepid and tasteless. The salad itself was unimaginative and too dependent on a mound of dark green dry leaves.For desert we chose the cafe and tea gourmande both of which contained three small helpings of sweet things: a chocolate cake (very average and rather dry), a lemon custard with a strawberry coulis topping and a well prepared and delicious creme brûlée.The bill for two, including one orangina came to 52 euros, a little on the high side for an unremarkable lunch."

"This restaurant is located in the old city center of Hyeres. You can sit outside and inside. Outside you can sit on wooden chairs at wooden tables. The menu is quite small and offering fresh fish and other meals. The wine list is very small! We have ordered sea bass ( filet de loup) at a price of 16,00 €. Salad was charged with 5,00 € and pommes de terre frites were also charged with 5,00 €. The fish was served with mousse from carots and potatoes. The carrots/ potatoes have had a taste of soap. The pommes de terre were perfect. The taste and the preparation of the fish was average. The service was average and not attentive. The white wine was charged with 26,00 €. Over all, I was not impressed."

"Petite surprise pour l'anniversaire de mon épouse,je choisis de l'emmener chez "Marcel" patron du pique bouffique.Super bien reçu à l’accueil par un personnel charmant(es) dans un cadre simple mais bien organisé.Plat de référence choisi ,les pâtes aux gambas pour moi et madame les coquilles St jacques...Une tuerie, c'est sûr il y a un secret de famille derrière ces préparations,un délice et surtout des plats copieux.Il en est de même pour le dessert,un plaisir de dégustation, présenté avec un petit artifice et coupes de champagne offertes par la maison,une attention que nous avons vraiment appréciée (réservation à plus de 15 jours)Encore merci.Je recommande sans demi-mesure"

"Petite salle de restaurant où mieux vaut avoir réservé ou bien arriver tôt. Attirés par les plats du menu proposé à 27,50€ nous optons pour celui-ci. Quasiment de suite (après un accueil ma foi chaleureux) on nous indique que certains plats ne sont pas disponibles ce soir, appréciable de savoir que tout est cuisiné en petite quantité mais dommage quand ce sont ceux-là mêmes qui nous ont incité à pousser la porte de cet établissement. Les entrées comme les plats sont en fonction de ce que l'on choisit quelque peu déséquilibrés en terme de goût et de quantité (foies de volaille en feuille de brick excellents contre œuf à la coque unique alors que deux œufs étaient proposés il y a encore deux ans, et en plat marmite de la mer qui ne porte qu'à moitié son nom malheureusement) et ne valent pas forcément le prix pratiqué. Quant au dessert je trouve cela plutôt dommage qu'un seul ne soit proposé le soir (alors que nous ne sommes pas dans le cadre d'un menu du jour par exemple ou cela est plus compréhensible). Si l'on opte pour un dessert parmi les nombreux autres de la carte, très tentants, et pour le tiramisu glacé, délicieux je me dois de le préciser, il faut ajouter 2,50€ à son menu. Enfin, serveur / patron à l'écoute et disponible."

"We enjoyed every minute of our visit to this restaurant. The setting is beautiful and the food well presented and very tasty. Approx 40€ per person not including wine or coffee. Friendly service and a good atmosphere. Tables not too close together all with a good view. You need to book. We got in at lunchtime same day but I think for dinner you need to book several days in advance. Follow the road to the port and look out for a small blue sign on the right as you go down the hill to the port car park. Turn into a narrow track and follow it down to coded entry gates. Nice beach below if you have your kit with you."

"Ce restaurant est atypique avec une magnifique vue sur les salins.Nous avons été bien accueilli et le déjeuner à la hauteur de nos attentes.Les tarifs sont corrects et le rapport qualité prix au rendez-vous. Un ami nous avait recommandé ce lieu et nous n'avons pas été déçu. Nous reviendrons prochainement avec plaisir avant la fin de nos vacances. En revanche nous avons regardé quelques avis sur ce restaurant et les réponses du gérant de l'établissement quand celles ci ne sont pas favorables sont plutôt surprenantes. En effet ils accuses les clients de ce réfugiés derrière internet pour se lâcher quand leurs avis ne correspond pas à ce qu'il attend . D'abord personne n'est parfait même pas vous et il faut savoir accepter la critique et sans servir pour améliorer les choses.Les critiques positives sont aussi sur internet et vous ne trouvez rien à redire !!Quoi qu'il en soit nous avons apprécié votre établissement."

"Nourriture très bonne (agneau et thon cru). On a vraiment pris soin de nous, des biscuits apéro, on nous a déplacés lorsque le soleil a tourné, des glaçons avec le rosé... Le serveur est très agréable, sympa avec les adultes et enfants.C'est un poil cher mais ca vaut les euros dépensés. La rue est un peu passante mais ca roule pas vite, c'est pas dérangeant.On va sûrement y retourner une fois avant de rentrer à Toulouse!"

"We were visiting in Hyeres over the Christmas holiday and went out thinking we had directions to a specific restaurant in the Gien area. Couldn't find that one and kept driving and came upon Restaurant Grand Baie. It was night so while I suspect they have a nice view, I can only comment on the food and service. We do not speak french very well and the owner sent over his son to help us though he did not replace our waiter. Very wonderful person to visit with. They bring the fresh seafood around on a large plank of what looked like driftwood. Very nice moderately sized restaurant that is family run with a careful eye out for the customers. Everyone loved their food. Two of us got their special menu for the evening which included a delicious salad with sliced duck and foie gras, a lamb shank dinner and a chocalate cake with a pudding center. We had several good meals during our visit in France but this was clearly the best one. Pleasant surprise find for the evening!"

"I highly recommend, to stop in this atypical bohemian coffee restaurant. Everything is perfect, from decoration, to the flavor of dishes, presentation of plates, kindness of staff. we went there twice during our holidays, no false notes are succulent. the products are fresh, the dishes are well balanced, surprising, the aromas used in the dishes are pointed, which gives these good flavors. The welcome is at the top, a smiling, welcoming, benevolent team, to your little care. Thanks to you for his two wonderful evenings, which thanked us to our server for the limancello he offered us, it was delicious, like the wine capelude."
