"This was the best meal/experience of our trip! The building, surrounding countryside, food, and hospitality of the staff were all remarkable. The concierge at our hotel recommended Hika and kindly set up lunch for us with a tour of the facility with Chef Roberto Ruiz. The tour included seeing the wine vats and a peak inside the mouth-watering, aromatic kitchen. Upon being seated at our table, they brought us a bread that was like nothing I have tried before (in a good way). We guessed a variety of different nuts and grains, and were pleasantly surprised when we were told it was corn bread! Wanting to try a variety of wines, my husband and I divided and conquered the wine list, each ordering a few different glasses to share. The white and rose txakoli were light, refreshing with a slight effervescence. Definitely one of the best examples of txakoli we tried during our time in Spain. The aged white was still light, but with more body. It stood up exceptionally well to the seabass we split for lunch, which was served table side with butter, herbs, and garlic. The red was delicious and could easily replace any Pinot Noir or Blaufrankisch in a meal or simply to be enjoyed on its own. For appetizers we had the croquettes that were amazing and very filling as well as the jamon on special. To finish out the meal, we split a couple of desserts. A month later, I am still thinking about our time at Hika. If you go, plan to spend 2-3 hours enjoying the food, views, wine, all of it!"

"great discovery today, we went to dinner for being very close to the rural accommodation that we had booked. We had dinner for two people, avocado salad and very delicious lobsters and a calves entrecot to the point, also very rich. the best came to desserts, the rice with spectacular milk and the caramelized entrance even better. the treatment of the waiter that served us perfect. I recommend the site completely. We eat on the terrace, very nice."

"Ayer fuimos y la atención. Del tipo que trabajo de camarero, hizo comentarios feos hacia nosotras, solo por estar sentadas esperando a que nos tomen la orden,dijo muy suelto de huesos que entramos como Pedro por su casa,y que no sabía que con qué intención pésimo la atención de ese camarero o no sé en realidad cuál es su función allí ."
