Grove Beer Tap and Grill

My friends surprised me with a late birthday treat at Grove, which had opened up while I was away from the city.

Wasn't sure about food at first due to being vegetarian but the menu was suitable. The food was really good, Lauren was friendly and helped with suggestions for both me and my partner. Will definitely be coming back!

The restaurant provides pleasant outdoor seating. Upon entering, we ordered our drinks (which were a bit expensive) and sat at a spacious, long table. Food can also be ordered here, and there are restroom facilities available. Visualizza piatti

Came in for a few pints, ended up staying for the atmosphere and the staff. Great selection of craft beers on offer and excellent recommendations by the staff. Excellent patter with the folk who were on Luke Lauren) , making a slow night a lot of fun. A good night out in Liverpool.

Expect to pay £5 for a bottle of great craft beer (have selection of Chapter beers, one of my current faves). Also had more bog standard lager types. Really modern and stylish, very clean toilets. Have been before evening and gets busy so get there a bit earlier, and look at the map, it's down an alley and is not signposted!

The staff at this restaurant are impolite and create an unwelcoming and uncomfortable atmosphere. They appear more interested in their own conversations and personal lives rather than serving their customers. Perhaps this establishment caters to a particular type of clientele, as I found it to be too elitist for my taste. I do not plan on returning. Visualizza piatti

I picked Grove Beer Tap almost at random as I was looking for somewhere quiet to go after my son’s graduation. I was amazed at the setting; the restaurant is large, spacious, clean and set in a lovely courtyard which would be fantastic on a summer’s evening. The prices were almost too good to be true £4 for a burger and fries) and the food itself was excellent and delicious. Portions were also very good and we left absolutely stuffed. Staff were attentive and constantly asked if we wanted more drinks. A brilliant place which I would highly recommend as it’s really hidden away in Ropewalks but definitely worth seeking out!

Popped in here yesterday afternoon before going the comedy store next door. They have a new menu we're nearly everything is only £4, hubby ordered a huge double chicken burger and classic fries, I ordered loaded nachos with chargrilled chicken and a box of Chinese salt and pepper sweet potato fries. Food was amazing huge portions all freshly cooked. Had large glass of wine each, they had an offer of rest of the bottle free so £9 for a bottle of hubby had one of there fruit ciders peach and pomegranate which was fantastic they have a huge range of specialists beers and ciders. Staff our really friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go again would highly recommend x

I was searching for a cozy and welcoming place to host my retirement party on Friday, December 29th (since Level nightclub was closed that night). I wanted a location close to Hotwater Comedy Club, and The Grove happened to be right next door. A few weeks prior, I stopped by The Grove on a whim and met James, the assistant manager. He was incredibly friendly and offered me different options for the event. James was so accommodating and the venue seemed perfect, so I made a booking then and there.
