Harvester Cardinal Park

My friends and I went to this place for breakfast after work. We were seated right away as it was still early. The waiting time for the food to be served is horrendous. If you’re tired and starving, this is not the right place to have breakfast.

The staff at Ipswich Harvester Ravenswood are the best, from the moment you step in the door to the time you leave. The breakfast was great, hot and tasty and the service as always was excellent. Thank you to our servers Jackie/ Alex and Chefs Sarah/Leigh. Peter Mandy IPSWICH

We were greeted by a friendly waitress who seated us promptly and took our order within a few minutes of us sitting down. Our food arrived in less than 10 minutes and we enjoyed a quick meal together before heading to the cinema. The service was good and the food was even better! Visualizza piatti

Pre-booked family lunch for 20 (including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free). The food exceeded expectations, not like a chain pub at all. Good quality, well presented and hot. The service was excellent throughout, by staff who really enjoyed their work and made sure we had a good time. Thoroughly recommended.

We went for a Christmas meal, service was good, regularly checked on by the staff and they checked if anyone wanted more drinks inbetween courses. Food was better than expected after reading previous reviews, no complaints at all and the profiteroles dessert was massive! It's definitely worth the money. One waiter in particular was very friendly, although didn't get his name! Would definitely go again.

My friends and I visited this restaurant for lunch. The food was typical of a chain restaurant - not exceptional, but decent. Our server Katrina was outstanding! Despite seemingly being the only one attending to the entire restaurant, she provided excellent service. It was obvious that they were understaffed, but Katrina made sure we were well taken care of. I visited this Harvester restaurant on my way back from Felixstowe. We decided to eat here because we were looking for a quick, affordable meal for two adults and two grandchildren. The kids had items from the children's menu, while my wife and I had a simple fish dinner. We ordered one medium glass of house wine and three cokes, which were lacking in flavor. Our total bill was £44. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the service as there were only three tables in use and yet we still had to wait for our salads. The staff seemed to be walking around with little to do. I will not be visiting Harvester again after this experience.

Went with my friend before catching a show at the Regent Theatre and honestly wish we hadn’t bothered. Salad bowl was dirty, dead fly in the peppers at salad bar....by the time the food arrived I wasn’t feeling very hungry. The corn on the cob was disgusting, soapy bland....just a “sorry about that” from our server. I note other reviews on here talk about the disgusting sweetcorn too! Chicken dish we both had was okay, definitely NOT worth the money, and we weren’t offered anything discount wise. The whole place looked like it could do with a massive clean, including one of the chefs who cane through to get himself a drink. I won’t be returning that’s for sure! Not impressed. I have to say that the service we received from one of your staff members, Sam, was exceptional and far beyond the level of attentiveness, grace and skill I have come to know and expect at a Harvester or similar. We arrived early for our table booking and Sam offered us both the lunch and dinner menu explaining that the lunch menu would end soon but we could still place an order before 5pm. This in itself is honest, thoughtful and shows a willingness to make an effort to act with integrity. Sam's timings to approach our table, clear away, etc, was spot on.
