"This very popular artisan baker and cafe is one of Salisbury’s gems. We always stop here from coffee when we are in Salisbury. It is great coffee (often accompanied by delicious fresh pastries, savouries or toast from their own freshly baked bread). Occasionally we also manage to stop for lunch and today was one of those days. I had previously had the bacon, brie and cranberry as a sandwich and it was very tasty. Today I had the same combination in the panini , it was outstanding. Crisp bacon (as requested) oozing warm brie and a generous layer of cranberry sauce, absolutely brilliant. My wife had the tomato, pesto and mozzarella panini and it was also hot, fresh and very tasty. Both panini came dressed with a small, but beautifully fresh salad in a balsamic sauce. If you are in Salisbury this cafe comes very highly recommended. And treat yourself to some of their bread or pastries to take home."

Lovely spot in Salisbury. Nice fresh bakes. Enjoyed a cinnamon bun and Iced coffee. Plenty of small tables for little groups.

Is there any reason why this place has gone card only payments? Truly annoying and very tempted to cross it over my list of places to visit whilst in Salisbury.

Very slow service, overpriced and bland food. Bread was just regular brown sliced. Unfortunately there are lots of bakeries calling themselves ‘artisan’ these days.

The coffee is excellent and they offer a wide variety of fresh bread and delicious pastries. Additionally, the staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to assist.

The staff were lovely, but the premises were rough and untidy. The cutlery had been in the dishwasher but no rinse aid obviously looked dirty because it looked spotty, so did not use them. The side salad was pathetic to say the least. What a shame, we will not go there again.

Ordered an iced chai latte with oat milk and received a glass with ice cubs in it, a pot of hot chai tea and a small jug of oat milk a la DIY I did not expect that In addition they do not take cash which is extremely customer unfriendly. Combined with unfriendly staff not a good combo. I will definitely not go back there.

Excellent breads prepared in the traditional method using proper bread making techniques, not the rushed Chorleywood method which nearly all supermarkets supply. Great place to chill and have an excellent coffee and cake Chelsea or cinnamon buns but the must haves are their hot cross buns. No supermarket can ever match these. Staff always friendly and helpful. Very convenient in Salisbury's Market Square.

Nice little cafe on the square in the centre of city where the market is on a Tue and Sat. Unfortunately they have very limited breakfast options but the coffee was very nice and a good size in a nice clean mug. The bacon roll was tasty with good quality roll and bacon but they were a little tight on the bacon. When paying £15 for 2 bacon rolls and 2 coffees I would expect more than 1 layer of puzzle plased bacon if I am honest but overall a nice experience in a lovely city.

"We stayed here ten years ago and thought it was wonderful and worth every penny. We were so excited to return, but really Disapointed. The grounds are lovely and we were pleased with our room. The children loved the outdoor space and the pool What really let us down was the food and service. There was no luxury here. The family dining choices were poor. The children's meal was bad one had fish gougons and sweet potato fries which were very salty. The other two had pizza, the small was served as half a pizza, the large was a conventional round shape. Both were shop bought bases (cardboard) with grated Cheddar on the top. Something I would not feed them at home let alone expect in a supposedly high end dining. My husband's steak was chewy. My main, whole plaice with creamed potatoes, the potato was served in a ceramic dish and it was cold. It was taken away and then took ten minutes to return by which point I had eaten the fish. The food was incredibly expensive considering how poor the offerings were. The next day we ate a very late lunch in Bath so we would not have to eat at the hotel. The breakfast buffet area had some nice items but was really understocked and allowed to run to empty. The staff functioned but not at a steady rate, we found the service slow and the staff disinterested. Such a contrast to our previous visit. The person in charge we found sullen and felt as if our presence was an inconvenience. When we walked through to the dining areas we would hop out of the staff'so way for fear of being bulldozed. When we left the receptionist was polite but did not ask if we enjoyed our stay. A week later I had an email to complete a survey and nobody got in touch despite the same feedback as given here. Very dispointing. Lovely room and surroundings but poor food and poor attitude from staff. Last year we stayed in a hotel that cost 65% less than Wooley Grange and had a much better experience."

"We had a tremendously good lunch here today-the food was quite delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful-I’d say it’s probably one of the best lunches I’ve had in quite some time….so to give you a clue we both had the pork-this sounded really lovely and we were not disappointed-pork belly, tenderloin,a faggot and a ham hock croquet with mashed potato and roasted cauliflower with a delicious jus and a slice of pickled apple( which I ate immediately with a piece of pork and when the waiter came to ask how our lunch was I asked if he could possibly get me another piece-which he did For dessert we shared the passion fruit crème brûlée which came with a passion fruit sorbet and some chocolate soil…..the focaccia we had at the start of the meal was superb and the coffee was also excellent -we do enjoy both cooking and eating-one of life’s pleasures and it’s abundantly clear the chef absolutely loves food too-a great display of cooking books from the greats sort of got me thinking it would be a good lunch…….also worth noting the drinks menu-some lovely wines, soft drinks and cocktails both alcoholic and non alcoholic. I finished off with a mocha which was hot chocolatey but not too sweet. Bradford on Avon is most definitely worth a visit and I’d say you would be foolish to miss out on a great experience if you didn’t also pop in to the bunch of grapes for some sustenance while there… Thanks for lunch and as Arnie says “ we’ll be back”….."
