"Leigh was fantastic - we had a birthday celebration and the guest of honor was treated exceptionally well. He thoroughly enjoyed the milkshake offered to him, as well as the dessert at the end. We always love the food at this restaurant and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The team and the food are both top-notch! Vegetarian options include delicious burgers. This is a great spot for dinner with prices ranging from £60 to £70 per person."

"Entering the stablishment was fine got told to sit anywhere.. after sitting for over 20 minutes in an empty restaurant, I personally had to approach the staff member to come and take my order… drinks came swiftly food not far afterwards.. the quality of food burger was just below average…. Ordered the bbq wings which are battered!. The battered wings where not fully cooked/ barely cooked then lathered (bbq sauce) and served waited awhile as we didn’t get any cutlery or napkins seeing as it was a burger… personally has to go and receive a hand fully of napkin’s from I’m assuming another member of staff…not once did anyone come and check until I acknowledged of other work suttlely that no body had one and ask how the meal went.. gave the server the food and she had left one culprit wings behind… the view to the kitchen was clear leaving the door open.. I seen sous chef and other chef brush off the stituation!. So I carried over the remaining wing still tact For them to examine… Borge the sous chef also supporting chef both of thier mouths dropped and walked away with their heads face sing down… I was greeted with either a manager/assistant or supervisor she didn’t announce who she was.. I got told the wings have been compt what more do you want…. I wish I expressed a perfectly cooked patty.. abhtger byn to fit the over cooked patty… oh yeah not to be served raw batter for the bqq wings!. "we went to the bunch of carrots the three of us for Sunday lunch. my wife and I lived with her sister who lives not far from the restaurant/pub. we booked lunch for 2:30 clock the place was busy when we arrived, we were shown quite fast on a table. beautiful decoration. my wife ordered the scampi chips and inherited her sister ordered the smoked scarlet and prawn in a thermidor sauce with chips and inherited. I ordered the car. 3 glasses of wine and a creamy water. the carvery had 3 pork pork pork turkey yorkshire pudding filling ball a lot of sweet roasted carrots and boiled spits. I had to wait, but not long. in this time fresh meat and vegetables came out. all hot and very tasty, as I came back to the table, my wife and her sister served her eating. we all enjoyed our eating, and the girls also had desserts sticky toffee pudding with cream or ice, I was too full of the carvery. the place was still busy, but well organized. the price was reasonable for us 3. we will come in future and more of us will definitely come back."

"We visited friends who were staying in LittleTarrington and they booked the Crown and Anchor for us to have lunch. A friendly welcome was offered by the staff and we ordered drinks and were shown to our table. The Sunday lunch menu offered 4 starters and 4 main courses with a vegetarian option. Our wives both had Roast Turkey, whilst we men both had the Beef (served medium rare),all arrived with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoe's,carrot's and parsnips, whilst the ladies also had homemade sausage meat stuffing to accompany the turkey, and separate dishes of cauliflower cheese,brocolli and cabbage were delivered as sides. An extra jug of gravy was requested and duly delivered along with horseradish and cranberry sauce. All were polished off and empty plates the order of the day. For dessert 3 of us had apple crumble and custard and 1 of us ate ETON MESS sundae. With a couple of bottles of DOOM BAR 0% alcohol,1/2 lager and a J20 the bill came to a reasonable (inc drinks) about £110. A lovely way to spend an hour or so in a nice country pub, with nice food and genial hosts. We are all hoping to return very soon."

"As always a treat to visit Chilled morning drinks and food, little card game with my son and great but relaxed service. Never feel hassled or rushed. Had the beetroot borini, was beautiful and the boy fancied a hot chocolate and cake which he demolished.
