Hollybush And - Piatti

Used to serve lovely food but has since closed down. Drove past this morning 3/3/2018 and it has just been flattened. Shame.

Have family living away from the area that had previously visited the Hollybush on numerous occasions, they wanted to organise a catch up, but had to inform them it had closed and knocked down.

Arrived Sunday for 3nights accommodation to find this Hotel was boarded up and locked. We were very deflated as was looking for a few days rest!, Had asked for our telephone number but never even notified us that it had closed down. Wasted journey! Visualizza piatti

Stayed 3 nights. Had a great time. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and good value. We were in room 1 and had a lovely view across houses towards Saltburn and Whitby. The choice of food was good it was well cooked and plenty of it.

This review is completely inaccurate, including the location information provided. The restaurant is not in Yorkshire, but in Cleveland with a TS postcode. While there is a Skelton near York, this eatery is not located there. Trip Advisor should correct these errors.

The restaurant offers a great selection of vegetables but unfortunately, they were served cold and some were over or undercooked. The Yorkshires were flat and the roasties lacked flavor. However, the gravy was delicious and the pork was tender, moist, and had good crackling. Overall, just a suggestion to heat everything up more before serving. Visualizza piatti

We stayed last week on a one night Groupon deal it really was excellent.The room was clean spacious with a fridge sea view.The staff were friendly helpful.Dinner breakfast were tasty plentiful. Skelton itself is a pleasant place but we visited Staithes Guisborough which are both very nice indeed. For the money we paid you could not ask for more.

We had bedroom 3 with twin beds.The room was comfortable and clean. Bonus was we could see the sea in the distance. As previously reported the rooms are not serviced everyday, but you only have to ask for clean towels(which we did) A big bonus was fridge in the room. Now to the food, the breakfast is huge and well cooked as are the other meals and very reasonable. On Wednesday they do over an 50s meal from 12 to 6pm £4 for 2 courses. Lastly I must mention the friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble

I had a party for my goddaughter's 5th birthday at this restaurant today. The new management was very friendly and accommodating, meeting all of our needs. They decorated the room exactly how we wanted it and everything turned out perfectly. Some of the parents of the children at the party even had the Sunday carvery in the adjacent large room, which they said was delicious and hot. There was also a selection of desserts and reasonably priced drinks. A big thank you to Ashley, Craig, and all of the hardworking staff for making our experience so enjoyable. Visualizza piatti
