Chaos. No one seems to know what is going. Staff look miserable and harrassed. After 20 mins' waiting, we left. Shame...had looked so inviting!

best breakfast in weral always beautiful and delicious and greace free. Top brands. beautiful staff. a def8nate visit in the village. 100% recommended by me.

Hosted to have a drink. Ordered tea and latte. Waited over 20 minutes just for this plus was given in take out cups as they got it wrong we were staying in. Feel there wasn't enough staff.

Good coffee and drinks all round and some really excellent simple food. Nice location while waiting for the Mersey Ferry to return to Liverpool. It was a nice day so it was really pleasant sitting outside. Not the most picturesque layout but a great view watching the ships on the river. All lovely and clean. Staff excellent and good fum.

The staff here are quite clearly unhappy which affects the level of service to customers and the atmosphere in the café. Customers are ignored while at the counter and positive customer service is lacking. Even the simplest of orders (tea and toast! takes more than 15 minutes to arrive even when the café is quiet. Although the food and drink is of a good standard, this is let down by the attitude of the staff.

We gave this a try after an early morning ferry ride and ordered breakfast, and got just about the worst breakfast we’ve ever had anywhere, which I suppose is some kind of achievement. My partner had scrambled egg with smoked salmon and said that the egg did not taste real and the salmon wasn’t good quality either. My sausage sandwich didn’t look too good and tasted even worse, it was tasteless and greasy/grisley at the same time. After a couple of bites I just couldn’t eat any more and we both left our food on the plate. Nice view outside but dreadful food.

This was the perfect spot for a lovely brunch, while doing the River Mercy Cruise. After a lovely walk about the Uboat Museum my sister and I could sit down and take a breather before continuing our cruise. The food was great! We ordered Eggs Benedict with Salmon, the best flavors and quality i’ve had in a while. We could not pass up the opportunity to have a taste of their variety of cakes. My sister ordered Carrot Cake and I ordered Blueberry and Lemon cake slices. The cake was divine melt in your mouth light and fresh. I will definitely recommend Home Coffee

We went to a private 70th Birthday part in July, in the middle of the hot spell, at this venue. So we were able to take advantage of the seating area outside. Wonderful views across the River Mersey, they simply got better as it went to dusk then night. But less about the view. What impressed me were a number of things firstly the service, staff were friendly and service was second to none, nothing was too much trouble. The food, which was a served buffet upstairs was delicious, What I would call lightweight summer food, burgers, pulled pork and halloumi on burgers, with salad etc, Great choice for such a hot night.
