"We had focused on the good reviews, and we were disappointed. The ambience we found... not good, although lovingly decorated and tried to hide the shortcomings... but also the tables, chairs... we say: we didn't feel very comfortable. Although we were really good, fast and beautifully served. The food was good, but nothing special. Unfortunately, we both reacted to some allergy sufferers completely independently. This is, of course, a very individual problem and has so far only happened 1x in a Chinese. We'd probably dare to sit outside in the summer. But it's more likely that we won't leave."

"It's hard to get a table here at weekend mornings after Mauna Kea is just that good and the people here know it. The food and atmosphere are worth the reservation though. There are some tables outside where you can watch the goings on...on the Boelsche Street, people getting their sunday rolls from the bakery, families out for an early stroll. It doesn't feel like you're in the big city here, the Boelsche feels more like the main street of a small town holiday resort. Inside there several smaller rather than one big area lined with bookshelves or wine shelves. All in all you feel more like you're in a fancy living room than in a restaurant. On the menue there's eveything you could ever want from a breakfast: the classic bread and butter version as well as numerous culture themed platters like the awesome scandinavian breakfast with salmon, scrambledshrimpyeggs and delicious rolls or oriental breakfast with hummus, olive paste, pita bread and salad. There's several variations of omeletts and you can chose to order them with fried or scrambled eggs. To go with the food you can choose from a list of coffees, juices, lassis. They have high stools for babies as well and are family friendly My personal tip for the summer: get up early and be there at The temperatures are still bearable, all the tables are free and the day feels fresh and new"

"since 1.1.2020 there is a new administration of taverna. the previous operator family had to give up at the end of 2019 for private and health reasons. the new management took over the menu and the cook so that eating did not change much: tasty and sufficient. the prices are in the rule between 10 and 20 €. the restaurant has 2 Greek dining rooms and a summer terrace, partly covered. the device was largely taken over. only the Greek-white-blue-cartated tablecloths (which somehow always reminded me of the NVA bed linen) were exchanged for identically patterned in white-green. Unfortunately, the new operator does not have much time to earn money: corona came from China to europa and Germany – they are known: weeks of enticing with the entire gastronomy. After the im-house nomination had been cancelled, the normal card was returned with changed opening times: now the whole week is open from 12 to 23 clock. the quality and the amount of eating the Greek cuisine is still very good too good. which has suffered in my eyes but is a bit the pleasant atmosphere. it was almost familiar friendly among previous operators, now it is quite cool business. update: next to the standard card there are also always day offers. on 11.11.2021 for example fresh grilled dorade with grilled vegetables. for someone who doesn't like to submit whole fish in the restaurant himself, this activity takes on request a service performance. has tasted well, but at 23,50 €uro was not a very good fun, especially since a saturation supplement was not intended for this fish dish."

"Wir haben seit langem nicht so gut gegessen. Hier passt doch alles zusammen, nettes Ambiente , sehr freundliches Personal - steht sofort mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.Die Speisekarte liest sich so gut - wir konnten uns nicht gleich für ein Essen entscheiden. Es gibt doch sehr interessante Creationen.Auf jeden Fall haben wir uns richtig entschieden - das Essen war sehr sehr gut.Schmeckt gut, sieht auf den Tellern gut aus und vor allem sehr frisch und heiß wenn es auf den Tisch kommt.Leider wohnen wir nicht in der Nähe , sonst würden wir schneller wiederkommen."

"Ich weiß nicht wie ich es nennen soll, ist es Abzocke oder Inkompetenz? Wir waren gestern spontan eingekehrt, da im Eingangsbereich Tische erst zu 18.30 Uhr reserviert waren. Die Pizza meiner Frau war ok, meine Tagliatelle al limone war einfach BETRUG. Es war nichts vom Basilikum zu schmecken oder sehen, es war nicht ein einziger Pinienkern auf dem Teller, es schmeckte nichts nach Minze oder Zitronensauce, nein es fehlte jegliche Sauce. Als ich das der Kellnerin meldete sagte diese erst mal, dass das doch auch gar nicht im Gericht enthalten sei. Die Gäste am Nachbartisch schauten verstört rüber, denn jeder konnte sehen, dass dieses alles auf dem Teller fehlte. Die Kellnerin schaute in der Speisekarte nach (sollte die diese nicht auswendig kennen) und gab mir Recht. Als die Kellnerin dann in der Küche nachfragte kam Sie schnell zurück und sagte, ich bekäme das Essen gerne noch einmal neu zubereitet, da wohl etwas schiefgelaufen wäre. Als ich fragte, wie ich das machen solle, da der Tisch ja bereits gleich reserviert sei zuckte die Kellnerin die Schulter, die Gäste am Nebentisch hörten, wie diese im Weggehen sagte, ich müsse dann eben schneller essen? Ich lehnte ab das Essen zu schlingen. Zur Kassierung war diese Kellnerin plötzlich verschwunden, der andere Kellner wusste nichts vom Vorfall und berechnete das Gericht voll. Warum ich so blöd war und auch noch Trinkgeld gab weiß ich nicht, eigentlich hätte man den Chef, oder die Polizei rufen müssen. Weder wurde meine Anfrage am Telefon, hier wurde aufgelegt, noch per Mail, jetzt 2 Wochen gewartet beantwortet!"
