The food was excellent, service was perfect. Darshan was our waiter and was perfect helped us with any requests. Just a perfect experience

The restaurant was amazing and everyone was super friendly especially Darshan who was so lovely and made the night even more special, if you get home as your waiter you are in luck.

Not a good experience. Cannot recommend this place to anyone, the food is very average and considerably overpriced. The service is poor and staff are rude. Don't waste your time going here, if you want the view go to the platform, don't waste your time eating here. You will get a better quality of food from your local chinese takeway.

I had a horrible experience at this restaurant. The shredded beef was tough and dry, the dumplings were overly oily and lacked flavor. The prawns with egg wontons were inedible and the pork ribs were extremely dry. The only decent items were the bland noodles and rice. Spending over £200 for this meal was disappointing, especially since it was supposed to be a celebration. I left feeling very disappointed.

We dined at your restaurant today, and it's not our first visit. While the food was excellent, we were informed that our table was needed once we finished our meal and paid the bill. We're disappointed with this experience at Hutong and feel that perhaps we should've chosen Ting instead, where they've shown more flexibility and consistently good table service. The waiter with a ponytail, who seemed to be Chinese, singled us out to leave the table, suggesting we had overstayed our welcome, even though he didn't mention this to other tables. We recently received a gift voucher to dine at this restaurant. The staff were excellent and the waitress was very nice. The view of the skyline was also amazing, especially during sunset and at night. The food was good, with the duck being a standout dish, incredibly delicious. We opted for the peony set menu, thinking it was a tasting menu as suggested by the man who seated us. However, it turned out to be a set menu with very small portions for the price. The main dish only had 6 cubes of meat between the two of us, with the rest being pieces of chilli. While the food was tasty, the portion sizes did not match the price paid and need to be increased.

My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary dinner at Hutong, and it exceeded our expectations! We were warmly welcomed by attentive staff who were exceptional throughout our visit. Luckily, we arrived early enough to secure a window seat, offering stunning views on a clear day. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, creating an elegant dining atmosphere perfect for our special occasion. The red lanterns added an authentic touch to the ambiance. We had a very positive experience until the last half hour. The food was delicious and the service was attentive at the beginning, but once we’d finished our main courses it all started unravelling. For a restaurant this expensive, I’d expect them to clean the table properly before desserts, but there was still bits of rice everywhere when they handed over the dessert menu only one for five of us.
