"The Old Mill is always the destination of our city walks in the historic core of Glückstadt. Located on the edge of the port directly on the water, not as chic as the historical buildings on the market, but always worth a visit in beautiful weather, there is also a stay on the terrace. The old, somewhat sloping industrial building is developed as a classic restaurant and although visually somewhat dusty nevertheless inviting, pieksauber and with this great view of the water, whose magnetism does not allow. Here after almost 10 years an update of the last review. Friendly professional reception in the reasonably well visited and lovingly seasonally decorated local, very nice young fleet service and placement to the water. On the neighboring table, it was already well-smellingly gray peas; a local specialty served at the carnival time. Stint also advertised on the table a small fish which is served in a variety of rich fried seasonal crispy with cucumber salad. Thus clear 1x stint with cucumber salad and roasted caffeine (17,90€ as well as a harbour master bread (18,20€ agitator on black bread with 2 matjesfilets nature and plentiful North Sea crabs. Otherwise, everyone else would find something on the balanced regional map of the beautiful simple to culinary creations. Versatile, varied offer also with traces of the new nutritional trends that (actually no person needs! What is passed during the waiting period makes you feel like more and the next visit... 1/4 Grauer Burgunder (6, € and an excellent Behringer Rosé (6,50€ came to the table in ice cold; a small bottle of water hit with 2.30€ to beech. After a pleasant break was served and we chose a portion of homemade retina sauce as a dip (1.50€). The small perennial fish delicately grounded, crispy buttrig, fresh with beautiful decoration and a classic cucumber salad with dill and onions in sour as in Grandma. You are actually eaten with your fingers including **** fin. The fish selection was good this product is measured at the fish size the smaller, the more fine! And so was it; no trace of any bitterness or indulgence otherwise in this fish. Of the tasty, classic roast potatoes crispy with bacon and onions we don't have to talk about them as the Remoulade excellent. The harbour master bread is not small and with beautiful salad set classically fluffy agitation to get satt with 2 delicate, mild-wüzigen but nevertheless expressive local matjesfilets crowned by still light-sweet fresh North Sea crab meat perfectly and harmoniously North German. Again and again the next visit is planned..."
