"Having enjoyed my last visit to this restaurant, I vowed that I would return. So, fast-forward 20-odd years , here I am again for the return visit! To be fair, I moved away from East Anglia not long after my first visit, so I have an excuse for not returning sooner. The food is just as good as I remember it all those years ago, although the prices have increased markedly over the years. I feel that, perhaps, The Royal Bengal no longer represents the value it once did, especially when taking into account the competition in the surrounding areas of Woodbridge. The addition of a 12% service charge and the high price of drinks do not help the cause either. Having said that, good food is worth paying for and that is what is provided at this restaurant. I will happily return here the next time that I am in the area ... l hope that it will not be so long this time until my next visit!"

"My partner and I went to the Unruly Pig for their tasting menu on a Thursday night whilst on holiday in the area and it didn't disappoint at all. The staff were lovely and attentive, knowledgeable when we asked questions, really nice decour, and the food was absolutely divine. Would return any time, happily. I only had one drink as was designated driver and enjoyed a cocktail, but the accompanying wine menu seemed to go down well too. 10/10 Vegetarian options: They had a whole tasting menu for vegetarians"

"One of my favourite waterfront pubs to visit in the south-east. Amazing food menu and a great selection of Chef Specials each week [be sure to check out the board before you order]. Family friendly, amazing and helpful staff. I have never had a bad experience in my many years of returning here. And if you can get here for Christmas Dinners, very much recommended. Im salivating just thinking about their food! Amazing outdoor seating along the waterfront and great atmosphere if dining indoors on a windy/wet day. Always happy with the bathroom cleanliness as well. Vegetarian options: Good and Tasty options Parking: Large car park and the cost is low compared to most Towns and Cities. [Gravel lot] Kid-friendliness: Plenty of food options for the kids, indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are good about getting your orders to you quickly when you have little ones with you too. "I love the coach and horses and never had a bad meal until the mother's day this year was my choice for my special day we all had a fry and although I like al dente I liked. do not like them so hard that they taste as if they have just come out of the floor and the cauliflower cheese consisted on a tiny flour every. my daughter prefers eating and ended with nothing on her teller, she said that the meat is tasteless and the extra bratkartoffeln never came. Promise from the waitress of the manager come to chat never materialized even tho' the great hast was over when we came to pay. the gesture to take our bill was appreciated, but I would have preferred it and had a beautiful Mother's Day meal. bad form coach and horses, definitiw not up to their normal standard."
