"If a family has been leading an Italian Sicilian restaurant for 40 years without interruption in a German city, you can talk about a tradition of Italian Sicilians. Forty years at the same location, vis a vis of the Wuppertal swimming pool and not even an ideal location, about 1.5 kilometres from the city. We haven't been here for a long time, of course it's not 40 years ago, but two or three years. We entered. Just like before, always full. The atmosphere has changed to the advantage. He accompanied us to our nice 2 he table in a side room of the restaurant 's. They used to say Separee. In the Separee there were two more table, plus and above all more to the guests there later. Two times the Antipasto Taormina (12, Euro a Person , Filetto de Manzo (Rinderfilet mit Stein Pilz, 29, Euro und die Gamberoni a la Taormina (Riesengarnelen mit Parmaschinken, 26, Euro). While we felt a bit loud when entering the restaurant, it was in the Separee (but much quieter). Well, I could have asked for the Formaggio, but I didn't. Instead, we restricted ourselves to Grappa Espresso. What else was noticed: On the map of the Ristorante Taormina the ignorant guest is explained exactly what the different cooking levels for steaks (Rare, Medium Rare, Medium, Medium Well and Well Done mean. Certainly there are still eaters who don't know that exactly. What we found very funny, however, was the explanation for Well Done: WELL DONE is completely fried. "Ich war schon 3 mal länger in Indien und gehe auch in Deutschland sehr regelmässig indisch essen, und kann das Delhi Roma nur allerwärmstens empfehlen! Die indischen Gerichte sind köstlich (die italienischen habe ich noch nie probiert...) und die Inhaber (ein indisches Paar) sind super nett und bemüht! Man sieht auch häufig andere Inder im Restaurant, was sicherlich ein gutes Zeichen ist! Unsere Favoriten sind die Nummer 35 und die Nummer 39, die wir auch sehr oft abholen und zu Hause essen. Übrigens auch kein Problem, etwas mitzunehmen und später noch mal in der Aluschale im Ofen aufzuwärmen! Das Ambiente im Restaurant ist nicht besonders schick oder gemütlich, aber ehrlich gesagt ist das in indischen Restaurants in Indien ganz genau so! Also, probiert es unbedingt aus!"

"This Greek restaurant is cult and for very good reasons! The food is honestly hearty Greek farewell. Try the big appetizer for a nice mix of what they have. Trying to find out what your main course will be is not easy because you are around all the other guests plate... it looks all delicious! Great atmosphere, excellent service. Take away offer!"
