Insist upon holding wine (chilling) away and out of reach of the table hence coming to try to fill your glass at the wrong time. Why can't restaurants understand that people drink at very different rates and don't want their glasses filled to a vulgar level before they have emptied the glass they are drinking? It is not only annoying but doesn't allow you to pace and watch how much you drink. And the wine is then not accessible when you want it! Despite requesting a very soft egg, the poached egg accompanying my fishcake was hard. The waitress (who has assured me it wouldn't be) was quick to bring me a replacement. Nice restaurant but I'd expect far better service from a good name like Ivy."

Delicious food, great ambience but pretty poor service. Our waiter was unfriendly, arrogant inattentive and not good at waiting. We requested a nice table for a birthday lunch but were given probably the worst in the room. Terrible coffee too.

Birthday meal for our daughter and from the moment she walked in the staff where amazing, lovely table great food and waiting staff made the evening very special. One of the nicest Ivy’s that we have been to and would recommend this to anyone!! Looking forward to coming back!! Visualizza piatti

We can never resist the duck salad starter which is delicious flavoursome and fresh. But after that, unusually we went for the February menu instead of the regular menu and the food was very tasty indeed. The staff were professional friendly and helpful. This is one of my favourite restaurants. I will be back again and again.

We felt that waiting staff were stressed. It took time for them to attend to drinks ordered. Food was good for 3 of us but bad for the 4th person which unfortunately was the one whose birthday we celebrated. Burger was tough as boots and bread stale. We had apologies and a complimentary dessert but it’s hard to compensate for a bad experience.
