"Great restaurant with only two employees (German husband and Chinese wife . This is supposed to be Darmstadts oldest chinese restaurant and suprisingly, its cuisine is more authentic than any other chinese restaurants in Darmstadt. I liked the owner, even though u have to get used to his sense of humour and ironically, he speaks fluent chinese.The food was great, a lot of variety and everthing was home made like the huge spring roll (super yummy or the peanut sauce. The pork belly was really excellent and spicy. The interior is outdated, but who cares as long as the food is great. The only two cons are that first, my wife's glass of lychee juice was only half full considering the price (2.70€ and due to the lack of staff, it took 45 minutes until our food was served. However, the owner told us in advance that they are quite busy and that it will take some time until our food is ready. So you have to be patient, when this restaurant is busy. Overall, it was worth it and I would love to go there again."

Mal abgesehen vom Ambiente was man noch auf Geschmackssache schieben könnte: Das Sushi ist wirklich nicht gut verpappter Reis der nach nichts schmeckt, Fisch der direkt aus der Kühltruhe kommt und eine kleine Auswahl Nein, Danke es gibt wesentlich bessere Sushi-Adressen sogar in Darmstadt.

Uriges chinesisches Lokal mit besonders urigem, sehr nettem, Personal. Gutes, schmackhaftes Essen. Das scharfe Essen hat diverse Schärfegrade. Ich bevorzuge den 3. Schärfegrad. I should stick to schnitzels and stuff. Anyway, this restaurant isn't bad at all. Aesthetically pleasing to the utmost, but the buffet left me with much to be desired. Ich war an meinem Geburtstag dort für das erste Mal und fand das Essen super. Das Laufband wurde extra nur für uns (4 Personen) angemacht und alles war frisch und lecker! Sobald sie mitbekommen haben, dass ich Geburtstag hatte, haben Sie mir auch etwas geschenkt. Sehr nett, werde auf jeden Fall nochmal hingehen! Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker und auf jeden Fall mehr als ausreichend! Wir haben chinesisch gegessen, man kann aber auch Sushi essen. Es gab verschiede Arten von Pilzen und auch vegetarische vegane Speisen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis top! Die Bedienung war lustig und hilfsbereit. Der Laden ist ganz süß eingerichtet aber man merkt, dass er schon lange Tradition in Darmstadt hat. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. "Wenn ich ehrlich bin, waren es eher 3 Sterne passt schon. Aber auf Google sind 3 Sterne ja schon fast eine Strafe, und das hat das Marrakech nicht verdient. Wir hatten reserviert und auch noch 15min vorher angerufen, weil wir im Stau standen. Trotzdem Hektik, als wir auftauchten. Wirkte so, als wenn man von der Reservierung nichts wüsste. Seltsam. Essen war okay, aber auch nicht mehr. Die Vorspeisenplatte entpuppte sich als leckere ! gemischte Salatplatte, der marokkanische Salat war sehr gut aber halt u.A. auch auf der Vorspeisenplatte . Hauptgang: Wir haben 2 mal Tajin bestellt. Einmal Lamm, einmal Kalb. Ein Gericht war vollkommen falsch. Lamm statt Kalb, Artischocken statt Rosinen. Da hatten wir dann zweimal Lamm und einmal mit den falschen Beilagen . Da es zeitlich etwas eng wurde, haben wir es genommen. Die Variante mit Backpflaumen und Mandeln war lecker. Die falsche Variante mit Artischocken eher langweilig. Das Lammfleisch tlw. sehr durchwachsen. Macht uns nix, ist aber nicht jedermanns Sache. Bei Tajin ist nach meinem Wissen ja das interessante, dass da Gewürze sehr raffiniert zum Einsatz kommen und auch durch die Zubereitungsart besonders zu Geltung kommen. Das haben wir vermisst. Da darf gerne mutiger gewürzt werden. Essen insgesamt okay, aber keine Offenbarung. Solide, würde ich sagen. Bedienung war gut, aber überlastet. Die beiden hatten ca. 10 Tische mit etwa 35 Plätzen zu bedienen, mussten tlw. Getränke machen und immer über die Straße rennen, um das Essen zu holen. Und es sah so aus, als wenn sie auch noch das To-Go verpacken/kassieren mussten. Das ist schwierig und herausfordernd. Und dafür haben es die beiden super gemacht. Preise sind sehr angenehm! Ambiente ansprechend und vermutlich authentisch. Toiletten ohne Tadel. Insgesamt okay wie gesagt, wäre 3 Sterne, aber das hat das Marrakech nicht verdient , aber kein unbedingt noch mal hin ."

"Wir gehen ganz oft dort, das Essen ist lecker, Service auch ok, Personnel sehr nett und freundlich. Ausser von Speissekarte gib auch immer Menu of the Day von Fisch, Pasta, Fleisch oder Steak. Meine Kinder essen gerne dort Pizza. Im Sommer kann Man im Hof sitzen, aber drinnen auch sehr gemütlich. Mann muss am besten Reservieren, sonst immer voll. Ich denke das Restaurant ist ein von Best Itallienisches spezialität in Darmstadt. So viel Plätze drinen auch nicht zu viel aber trotzdem sehr angenehm. Gib Parkplatz am Restaurant aber leider nur für 2 Autos, aber in der nähe gib auch Parlk möglichkeit. Das Restaurant hat Montag ruhetag. Der Preis ist ja akzeptable."

"This restaurant is amazing. Every year we visit Germany we make sure to visit. The food is absolutely delicious. They even offer a vegan option on there menu which I was very pleasantly surprised about . Thus I ordered number 100 on the menu which is vegan . The portions are very generous as well. I love spicy food and they have several dishes that are spicy but my vegan portion wasn't but they offered hot pepper powder which absolutely did the trick for me . The interior of the restaurant is very cozy and it sets you back in time and you feel like you are in Persia . Very tastefully and exclusive decorations. I can only highly recommend this restaurant I promise you will not be disappointed"

"The place was packed on an early Saturday night, but we had reserved. At first we were assigned a tiny table at the hallway where everyone who needs to go to the bathroom passes closely behind one's back. We expressed our dissatisfaction with this and then were offered a table close to the entrance that was somewhat better. Why not from the beginning? The staff was stressed and each time a different person appeared at our table. Some were friendly, others curt. The atmosphere was loud and hectic, which was not helped by the very narrow spacing of tables. In any case, in due course our order was taken and it did not take too long to arrive. This was possible, because clearly much of the food is prepared in advance and only heated up. For example, the Tajine dish was served in one, but it was clearly not prepared in it. The food tastes ok, but we would have expected more seasoning, it was a little bland. Portions are generous, perhaps even too large. There is a short list of bottled wines, but prices are marked up steeply. Altogether, the price tag seems a little high for the delivered quality. In summary, while there is nothing deeply wrong with Djadoo, we were left with a mere average impression. But they were turning three or four seatings per table, so many other customers are clearly more pleased."
