Jonny's English-Irish Pub

It's a very small but very authentic pub in Vienna. Beer is good and it located quite in the city center.

We did stop here a couple of nights before returning to Premiere Hotel Kaiserhof. This small pub was very atmospheric and it became our favourite indoor drinking spot in Vienna.

The Barman who plied us with Jager Bombs kept taking his shirt off! This place was just down the street from the Hotel we were staying in. We kept coming back for more during our stay and will definitely come back for next time we are in Vienna

Popped in early evening as we waited for the ladies to get ready for dinner and thought this place had a great atmosphere and good beer. The drinks were a bargain as we were lucky enough to arrive during happy hour. 2 pints were 3.90. Recommended

One of my favourite spots in the neighbourhood to pop in for a drink and a chat at the bar. I've spend many fun nights here meeting new people and having a laugh, definitely recommend if your looking for a friendly and welcoming local hangout spot.

Cheap beers and a decent range. Went with a group of boys and was beyond refreshing to be served in an Irish bar by an Irish fella. Not only way he Irish but he was be best bloke going around. Can't recommend this place more if you're looking for a few drinks late in the evening.

Really enjoyed the staff, decent beer selection and were open until 4 am which was great for me and my time zone difference. The bartenders Joe and Tony (shameless) were a big hoot, and the crowd wasn't obnoxious or loud, seemed like a lot of regulars. I'd drink here all the time if I lived in Vienna.

Service is a pure zero. The waiter we later found out is named JOE is extremely unfriendly and he refused to serve us beer although we have never seen him in our lives just because he doesn't like a friend of ours. Vienna is a really welcoming city but this place was the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. A person like this has NO place working in service since he acts like he owns the place and doesn't even possess the basics of good manners. WE WOULDNT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. Just don't waste your time going there

I don't understand the positive reviews for this place. Yes, the prices are cheap. Their genius strategy to offer low prices is to remove the costs, like table service, using credit cards or offering wi-fi. We went as a group, so it was a complete pain in the butt. The amount of smoke in the place is overwhelming. We made it through an hour or so then left.To add to the misery, once you get your food, you have to pay that bill in cash, then pay for your separately to a different person. Get it together folks!!
