"Jour reminds me of these American salad bars, in the sense that there are a lot of ingredients to choose from but also that it is expensive to eat healthy. The functioning is like this: you either choose premade salad types (they range from 9.50 to 12 euros) or you create your own. If you feel creative, you choose two bases (spinach, salad, pasta, grains...) and then you have three ingredients to choose from a selection of 8 and a sauce. Then your salad won't be too expensive (about 6 euros). The three included ingredients are not exciting ones (corn, cherry tomatoes, carrots... you see the style) and exciting ones as well as protein based ingredients (cheese, falafel balls, shrimps, chicken, salmon) are all individually priced (1,50 to 3,50 euros each). That's when your bill inflates. I made my own salad (see pic) and it was spinach and kale, then cherry tomatoes, marinated kale and brocoli (3 included ingredients) and veggie falafels, one burrata mozzarella and shrimps. That's when my bill went to the sky (15 euros for a salad). It was good, don't be mistaken (the burrata was real fresh and not sour at all, the miso sauce I chose was very tasty...) but darn, that salad was pricey... It's a good treat if you are dying to compose your fresh salad but it's nearly the price of a salad in a restaurant, and it's only a take away place. The portions are filling but nothing like the American salad bars."

På vores tur til Paris besøgte vi Jour tre gangw, men oplevede to af gangene, at de manglede ingredienser til deres retter. Maden er egentlig god, men det trækker ned, at råvarerne ikke er forberedt tilstrækkeligt.

J'y viens régulièrement et j'apprécie le service et les produits qui sont proposés sont frais. Je prend généralement une salade à composer, mais cela peut petit à petit augmenter l'addition. Malgré les suppléments, je valide la qualité des produits.

We enjoyed a freshly made and colourful lunch: Buddha bowl and winter warmer were both great choices. The Buddha Bowl was gently spiced and combined light flavours to make an complex mouthful. The team were friendly and made the generous portions as we watched. A good pit shop in a busy day.

Attiré par la sympathique devanture et le choix de salades, nous rentrons. On ne connait pas et nous ne sommes pas aidés ou guidés pour faire nos choix, le service est un attentiste ou épuisé après l'heure de pointe? La carte de salade est variées, nous commandons, ah il manque ceci, puis cela, certes il est est 13h30. Allez, l'addition, 47€ à 4 sans boissons ni extra, le coût est un peu élevé. Bon, tout cela semble frais et les salades sont appétissantes. C'est avalé, un détour par les toilettes et... déception. Autant la salle semble proprette, autant les toilettes sont désuètes et au pied d'un escalier, dur dur pour la mobilité réduite.
