"Great bathroom, room is big, but no opening window so claustrophobic and warm. Needs some form of information booklet/laminate. Details of breakfast times, checkout etc. No bar menu offered so no idea of what is on offer. Food is OK, a bit bland and uninteresting for a small menu. Chicken ballatine was very cold, needed to be out of the fridge a little, tempura prawns had little coating. Didn't like smoked mashed potatoes, personal choice but too much. Food is well cooked just not the standard expected. Breakfast was great. Staff very helpful . Just needs some oomph!"

Went for a couple of nights before Christmas. Really great friendly service and food. The grounds were good to walk around, I bet they are better in the summer.

We only stopped by the hotel to grab a coffee, but we had heard about a picturesque walking trail for dogs around the hotel. It was a pleasant stroll and a nice change of scenery for our furry friend.

We were really looking forward to our afternoon tea, but were disappointed to find that the price was different than what we had been told over the phone. This may have been the reason why the restaurant was so quiet. Our tea arrived without any side plates or cutlery, so we had to ask for them.
