"This is located immediately next to reception in Best Western Kastell hotel. The receipt shows Best Western. But it's independent. Cash or card. No charging to room. Friendly, efficient staff. Fairly obvious they'd rather be socialising with their friends, many of whom seem to be hanging around in Juls Bar, wandering in and out of the sliding door, presumably to smoke, drafty every time they open it. Lots of hugging and whooping and noise. Not sure if they work at the hotel or bar but it was all very familiar and to be honest I felt I was intruding by asking for a beer. The food was strange but it does say Steak in the title. Steak, steak, steak or steak or burger. No fish. No pizza. A veggie burger option. Steak well cooked. A bit rare for medium but good. Small salad and kraut. Decent food and not bad price for a hotel. But then, it's not part of the hotel. Or is it. It's a bar, and restaurant. There's a cat. It's in behind the bar. It's in between the tables. Don't say aaah, a cute cat. I'm indifferent to cats but I don't want one under my chair and wandering behind the bar. It's not hygienic. Pic attached. Would put me off staying at this hotel."

Stumbled on to this place, since it was close to where I was staying. Had the house burger, it was outstanding. Rivaled any great burger place back home. Basic salad bar was included, which was nice. Highly recommended.

have eaten there twice, once the normal burger, once the vegetarian variants with grilled vegetables. Supplements sweet potato pomers/steakhousepommes.I found both the dishes very good, also good portions.Using is fast and friendly.

this is quite new, or otherwise said, under new leadership and with new concept.We have come shortly after 18.00 clock, were greeted nicely and brought to the table of our choice. in menu card, which is not too big, are possibilities to combine the food a little. we took a robe and salate to me. after the main dish I had planned to take another dessert but had to fit. it was really much and instead of apple pie only espresso taken. the food, ambiente, and the service were more than OK!The price/feist. ratio is right.
