Good tiny sushi place! In the true Japanese style, there only few seats available inside (probably possible to have max 10pers) so it's better to call and make a reservation before you go. Yet, it's not the kind of place where you stay for hours, meaning there's a lot coming in and out and might be able to get a seat if you ok waiting 15-20min. Talking about the food as such, we tried several different maki and California and they were all pretty tasty and fresh. One thing though: they put mayonnaise in the California ...which I really don't like! That's probably why I only give 3 , as well as because of prices which are a little bit too expensive for the overall experience.

This is a tiny sushi bar in an area that food wise is mostly concerned with beer, shots, fat and carbs. Kampai is run by Japanese who know what a sushi bar should feel and taste like. You feel welcome and at home immediately (if there is free space no reservations taken). There is a limited menu, a cold beer, a very short wait, and then ... the sushi, decorated with a few nice touches ... the sushi rice is just perfect in taste, consistency and temperature; that plain salmon nigiri will simply melt in your mouth. Close your eyes, it's so good. What a find, what an oasis in this unlikely neighborhood! It's not a cheap eat, but wow this will enhance your mood by 100° and puts you back to hit t...
