"In our holiday at the North Sea in the Wangerland we tested La Primavera restaurant. I have to say, however, that we have not dined in the interior or on the spacious terrace, but everything to take away. Thus, there is only the impression of ordering and picking up the food in the interior. It looks neat and relatively spacious, but very dark. Immediately after the doorstep has been passed, you come to the reception halls where you are greeted more or less friendly. There we ordered. The outdoor terrace was unfortunately closed, as the weather was not so intoxicating, but this is generally very welcoming as it is large and spacious. La Primavera is located relatively far away from the centre of Hooksiel, where more gastronomy is. Thus, this restaurant has more or less a monopoly position in this district, which one also notices at the prices, which are generally averaged approx. 2,00 € are higher when comparing pizza and pasta. It is fair to say that the portions are somewhat larger. Since La Primavera offers almost everything the tourist likes: pizza, pasta, steaks, fish, good civic, salads, grill specialities (Cevapcici.. etc. Sometimes it is said that if a restaurant offers everything across Beet, it damages the quality of food. We were excited! Ordered for two adults and two children. Pizza Salami Pasta Rogatoni Porto – Cooking ham, Brokkoli in cream sauce Mini Wini – Chicken Nuggets with pommes Children's schnitzel with pommes pizza rolls The order was within approx. 15 minutes ready to take, which is very fixed, although the restaurant was already very well filled. Personally, I wanted a pizza and I was happy. When I lifted the lid, I saw the good piece, and I was only half enthusiastic. She seemed a little smaller than the 32 centimeters in diameter. For fun, I measured with a tape. In the widest place it was just 29 centimeters. The covering looked as good as possible, but even when cutting, the second evil occurred. The dough was not completely baked in the middle. Tastefully it was average. The pasta, on the other hand, was better, this was stuffed with fresh ingredients and, on the whole, was good to me a little too, my wife tasted it. The Chicken Nuggets with Pommes for the small guests was issued in a Styrofoam Box. The portion in itself was a little lazy, especially the number of pommes left to be desired, even if it is a child's portion. For this, the nuggets have tasted neatly and the pommes I found very tasty. The children's carving with pommes was also swamped into a polystyrene box, the kitchen had to bend even the carving to get it in. S didn't look nice and the pig would have earned a more loving transport route to the last resting place, but the taste of Schnitzel and Pommes has convinced! The meat was beautifully tender and without tendencies. The pizza rolls were packed in aluminium foil and should normally have been warm – but they were cold – unfortunately. All in all a little shadow around the light. If the pizza has been a one-time slipper, then I would recommend the location for dinner as everything else was good in the whole. On the plates in the restaurant, all this certainly looks more inviting, but on the basis of our dear Corona pandemic we prefer to avoid full premises. What happened to me in comparison to other restaurants in the place were the uniformly higher prices for the food – in this holiday there was something to eat in the town centre, as we paid 10,00€ less and got more. Despite everything recommended."
