Cibo molto buono. Ho mangiato hamburger e patatine. Cameriera gentile. Ho avuto l'esperienza sfortunata di sedermi vicino a un profumatore d'aria con timer che ha leggermente rovinato l'esperienza culinaria, ma è andato bene. Forse non tornerei di nuovo.

I had the best chicken in a long time, the people are really nice and we had a great time. I strongly recommend the bruschetta to start and the galletto as an entree. Hey... grab a beer while your at it and enjoy the night in lecce!! Can't wait to come back!!

One of the great selling points of Kingallo is the nice beers they brew (e.g. Belgian and American ale style). Outside of their building, it is nice to have drinks along a lively street in Lecce. The inside of the restaurant is not a very stylish place (a kind of 'medieval ' fastfood restaurant), and service is not exactly ideal (it took us some time to catch the attention of the waitresses). The specialty is baby chicken wit grilled vegetables or fries. If you want something different to eat, except fish, you’ll find it, including burgers. Not only the huge place divided in smaller cozy spaces is decorated like a medieval King’s court but they suggest and I did and found it was the best way to eat, you eat with your hands. The somewhat spicy chicken reminds me of creole New Orlean food. Don’t miss this meal,

Questo posto è un must stop se stai visitando Lecce. I lavoratori e il servizio sono divini, sono stati così gentili non sapendo molto l'inglese e ci hanno dato mini fette di pizza gratuitamente che è stato un ottimo modo per iniziare il pasto. Tutto quello che ho visto mangiato qui dagli amici sembrava incredibile e ben preparato. È anche a un prezzo decente. Ho mangiato il taco di maiale che era salsiccia macinata, spezie, cipolla e lattuga ed è stata una dei migliori pasti che ho avuto finora a Lecce. Hanno anche una interessante selezione di birre che ho amato. Consiglierei vivamente di mangiare qui!

I've visited Kingallo Restaurant in the last days in a little holyday with my family in Lecce. We've seen the restaurant entry with my son in a short ride with a quadricicle that we've rented in the main place of Lecce (S. Oronzo Place). Full of curiosity, the next day, we three, me, my son and my wife have gone in this very particular rest/pub and the first impression has been positive, very positive. The staff has been at once at our complete disposition and our order has been send in the kitchen at the light speed. I was visiting Puglia from New York City and was recommended to try Kingallo by family and friends that have previously visited. The moment you enter the restaurant you are greeted by friendly and warm smiles. The theme of the restaurant is medieval. Patrons are drinking all types of beers While chewing on peanuts (so much fun). What's cool about this restaurant is you can even throw your peanut shells on the floor. We came with a party of ten and once seated we were immediately handed a menu. I ordered their famous Galletto (chicken) and boy was I happy. Siamo stati qui un sabato sera a dicembre dopo essere stati consigliati da un amico del luogo. Erano circa le 20 (forse un po' presto per gli italiani) e eravamo gli unici clienti. Nonostante fossimo gli unici clienti, e nonostante ci fosse un sacco di personale in attesa in giro e a chiacchierare, il servizio è stato piuttosto lento anche se abbastanza cordiale. Hanno una scelta di birre artigianali e importate, se siete interessati a questo. Vengono servite arachidi mentre si aspetta, con i gusci da gettare per terra.
