"I ate here with colleagues from work, and while the environment was nice, I thought the food was fairly average. To start, this restaurant is upstairs in a large, wooden building. The restaurant setting is very nice, and there is a door that leads onto...a balcony and you can look down on the large open area before; which is really a pretty cool view. The restaurant fancies itself as a “wine restaurant”, so they offer more wine then beer, which is good with me. We sampled a number of the wines and there are certainly some good ones to be had. As far as the meal, I had steak with Spaetzle. The steak was okay, but I would certainly not order it again. Granted, steak in the US is typically better than steak in Germany, but this one was average at best. The side dishes were all good. In general, it is a nice place, nice setting, but the food was average … not good, not bad. Bottom line is there are a lot of great places to eat in Stuttgart and I am not going to rush back to this restaurant."

"Advantages: My partner and I were visiting NRW at B B Hotel. The restaurant was warmly recommended to us, but we were both dissatisfied. Especially when the waiter arrived shortly after 9 p.m. and then we both ordered a fanta, and this restaurant was an orange juice with sprout. That didn't taste us both. Then we ordered spaghetti carbonara and chicken breast and potatoes. The noodles were much too al dente and very oversalted. The meat, on the other hand, was very delicious and the sauce is a matter of taste. However, it was ordered without vegetables and there came as the answer “before vegetables need ch”. So it was with vegetables, which was not eaten, because this was not ordered. The waiter wasn't unfriendly but also not friendly and seemed very uninterested. "Sehr ungewöhnlicher Ort. Vereinsgaststätte mit nicht sehr einladender äußeren Optik. Innen warm und gemütlich. Sonntag, 18.00 Uhr zu 2/3 der Tische besetzt. Sehr flottes und aufmerksames Personal. Das Essen, 1x Vorspeise kalt, 2x überbackenes giros und 1x Retsina-Teller... Alles voll lecker und völlig genug. Sehr empfehlenswert..."

"Unfortunately, I was deceived by all the positive reviews. Perhaps today all people only eat pizzas on the local Italians, and perhaps this is good, but whoever is looking for reasonable pasta should avoid this restaurant. I ordered Penne a la Gorgonzola and got a soup with Gorgonzolaaroma and penne with a small spinach. So thin shouldn't be a sauce (the waitress told me it should be so na... . Much Gorgonzola wasn't in there as I tasted. My accompaniment had penne with minced meat sauce, bacon and mushrooms and was not really enthusiastic either. Yes, it was comparatively favorable, but that does not justify the fact that the Cola was the only thing that tasted as it should. Unfortunately, even the green tea did not cost, that really surprised me because this was a tea bag (by Messmer. What's going on? Ambience not really convincing, but also not really bad. Conclusion: Operation nice and fast, Pasta not so good. I can't say anything about the pizzas. Vegetarian options: available parking: working days up to 6 o'clock with parking max. One hour. There is a parking space for about 5 cars. Then free and unlimited."

"the food was great! especially the roasted potato with speck and 3 roasted eggs. I would also recommend the unicorn salad with maul pockets. in the winery the atmosphere is magical. there is a taste of another time since it is 735 years old. it's a bit expensive, but it's worth it."
