La Brasserie at Sofitel London Gatwick

Overnight stay pre early morning flight. We are ate at the Brassiere in the Sofitel at Gatwick North. Good food great service from Samim.

Breakfast here was very good, great selection and quality. Service was excellent from the team. It's a nice area to have a relaxed breakfast.

Would just like to thank the staff specially Natalia for accommodating me and was so helpful and kind. Had a great meal, great staff and a great few hours spent here.

Even though the reviews were bad it was actually worse than expected. I would highly recommend eating before you arrive at the hotel. The staff were sweet but the food was bad and the wait times were even worse.

We were staying at Premier Inn Gatwick north and it was packed. No chance of a table in the restaurant, so luckily we opted to go next door to the Sofitel Brasserie. What a great choice, it was calm, spacious and the food and wine were excellent. Service is top notch, we were seated by the charming Mr Muhammad Bilal and our waitress Nikita was attentive and delightful. Highly recommended to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Business dinner for two, prior to flying out from Gatwick. Although restaurant could do with a freshen-up, there was a relaxed atmosphere, made all the more pleasant by our waiter 'Yogi '. He transformed what would normally be a relatively sterile airport experience into one which we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The food was good and a good selection of wines, including some local vineyards. All-in-all, a pleasant experience, made better by some good staff.

Everything about our meal in La Brasserie was perfect. The location was elegant, the staff were attentive and charming, the food was delicious. We had two different appetizers (the pork cheek and the duck confit) and both were excellent. We both had the same entree, the bouillabaisse, which was not at all the traditional fish soup dish we expected, but rather a modern deconstructed version, still delicious and with greater eye appeal. Sadly, we were too full for dessert! Thank you Sofitel.
