"The moment you step in the restaurant, the cozy decor makes you feel incredibly welcomed. Nour spoke perfect English and was very friendly and helpful when introducing the dishes. Service was fast and I absolutely loved the open kitchen where you can see everything going on. We ordered a koshary and squid, both were tasteful and we had a wonderful experience trying Egyptian food for the first time. For dessert we tried this cake thing with coconuts inside, 10/10 would recommend! I would definitely come back next time I visit marseille :"

Meze were ok even though the taste was not so great. Main dishes were extra cooked and a bit overpriced in our opinion. Generally speaking food was acceptable but what couldn't happen is to have two mice next to us in the terrace for most of the time spent there. We were really disgusted.

The service was okay. We really loved the “Amuse Bouche” and our Entre, Houmous with amazing homemade bread. Unfortunately our main dish, crabs with rice for 17€ was really overpriced. The dish was plain and the crabs were overcooked. All in all you could go there and maybe give an other dish a try.

Never tried african food before and we had a very plesant surprise. The place looks cousy and quite authentic (for someone that never visited Egypt), the staff was very friendly and nice and explained everything we ate. The food was very good and the best thing is that we had a plate with multiple things on it so we got to try a lot of foods in one go and for a very good price.
