"We have been here many times on our trips to Barcelona--shame on me for failing to wirte a review of them My wife and I visited last night and were greeted by Achmed who may be one of the nicest gentleman in the restaurant industry...as well as overall. He seated us and we put ourselves in his capable hands for dinner. He brought out a huge salad, big plate of tapas, seafood paella and made tomato bread at the table. As always, the food was excellent and more than enough for 4 people. The wine was great and the sangria even better. Achmed checked on us constantly and made sure we were having a good evening. After dinner he dropped by to talk with us and we taught him how to make little beer shots. Those were a big hit. If you visit (and you will want to) , you have to order these!! We are in BCN every 6 weeks or so and this is always on our stop list. The mini-rambla is so much nicer than its bigger brother and La Roda is one of the reasons why"

We visited this restaurant the first night we arrived in Barcelona. The staff could not do enough to help and please us. The food and drink was very tasty and plentiful. We decided to spend our last night with them which was New Years Eve....We were not disappointed. We were remember and welcomed with open arms. There was a set menu and we had never seen so much food and drink at a very reasonable price. We had a memorable evening and cannot thank the staff, waiters, chefs, owners enough. You gave us a memorable night and the food was fantastic. Thank you all.

We first found this restaurant around nine years ago a we wrote a review I accidentally got Achmed names wrong for this mistake I’m so sorry . This is an amazing little place with very friendly staff an great food . You can feel the...atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door its welcoming an warm . We walked from the top of the Rambla down to the port along the beach past the arts hotel an finally up .it took us a while but we so glad we perceived to find this little gem .
