"So rather than verbally giving our order we circled our choices and handed to the waiter, starters, tapas and paella. We waited about 40 minutes so asked when our starters were, the waiter apologised and said he would check in it, brought us a couple of plates and we waited, we then received all tapas and paella no starters! I asked where the starters were, look of horror and asked why the tapas and paella were brought together, the answer was is that not what you wanted? The tapas was great, but as a grazing establishment, I would have liked to think that we could pace ourselves and not have it all in one hit ! And the Paella did NOT have a crispy bottom as bet the menu stated or even as it should be. I wouldn 't have minded too much, but we were settled in for a grazing session, as you do with tapas. It was not busy at all, probably about 6 tables maximum being waited on. Bad experience, poor kitchen execution, good tapas but overshadowed by what should have been a lengthy experience turned out to be a get em in/ get em out mentality."

I arrived at the restaurant only to find it closed. It was a complete waste of my time to travel there!

The meal was enjoyable, and happy hour was available for customers who preordered tapas and cocktails. It was a fantastic experience.

This was our first visit to a tapas bar in MK . The food was VERY tasty, the server, Maria, was charming and very helpful. The wine was expensive, shame about that. We shall return and drink less wine!

We have been to la tasca.on many occasions and the food and the service are always good. I got my table downstairs as requested.which was much appreciated. My husband and i had a fabulous evening.and will be going again.

this restaurant gives no money. we spent £60 for two people on 6 plates tapas and two drinks. the tapas were prepared due to the fastness of the service. there are better restaurants out there that give more for their money.

First time we had tried tapas. Very impressed with the food and staff. Staff were very helpful in guiding us as it was our first time. Have already booked to return. Only downside was I didn't find the seating very comfortable.

starters and tapas were very nice as was the waitress who served us,but the paella was truly tasteless,my son who was with us is a chef said it had no seasoning and the stock used was just like water,we asked the chef to try it but he refused.....perhaps he already knew how bad it was. They did take the cost off the bill but it spoilt my birthday meal,we had travelled 180 miles to be there.

On Valentine's night, we visited the restaurant for a business meeting, and it turned out to be a perfect setting. The service was a bit slow, but I suppose that was to be expected since it was a busy evening. It might be a good idea to offer a 'random' selection of tapas, similar to the menu for four that many Indian restaurants have. It was a bit challenging for our group of five to decide on what to order.

"Absolutely average restaurant. Dirty bamboo table mats and super dirty windows, kinda sad to look out of them. Impatient service, who under 6 minutes 5 times came back trying to pressure me to take my order. I was confused as I thought it was a restaurant not a fast food place. Silly me who used to live in Japan though the menu is just like there, with pictures. How wrong I was...So getting my phone to have a look at their website, what kinda different that in the restaurant menu card one. When I tried to ask for reconditions, I didn't get any, she just straight away took the last what I asked. The steamed algae was very nice, but my noodle soup was a big surprise, as I have no idea what's roasted (burned) pepper and massive chunks of onions doing there? It's supposed to be sea food, but instead just some burned vegetables scared with frozen octopus, mussels and mini calamari rings poured up with chicken broth. So yeah, kinda disappointing. Drink wise I asked the waitress do they have any tonic water as it isn't listed on the menu card, she looked at me like I am a weirdo. I asked for Roku gin what is my favourite. On the receipt was counted as an extra pound because Japanese. Lol, no comment. Getting the drinks, from other restaurants you get the spirit on the rocks in the glass and front of you they pouring the mixer drink from the mini bottle. Here not, just straight away together as it comes. Oh and don't bother asking without lemon, because you are getting one either way. So Akasaka restaurant did not become my favourite one. Once and last. Easily can be forgotten. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"
