We went here as it was recommended, the view was amazing as was the food. I had the Mussels with the Thai sauce which were one of the best I have had. The staff were polite and the service was really good. The one way system is good as is the social distancing.

Having read on Trip is Advisor that visitors were welcome we arrived at Lake Yard for dinner. We were advised by a young man who came to meet us at the door that it was a members only club and that we could not eat there. All this was stated in a rather rude manner.

Had dinner here with friends on a table of four. There is an under cover decking area which was ideal for outdoor eating, with heaters for when the sun went down. I join as member thinking it would be a nice place to go for lunch with my boat. The membership costed £100.00 a year. They have a very small capacity because of shortage of staff. Every time I tried to book, they have no capacity. Food is average and service is OK. The young staff do try hard to please. Don't pay to join as member. Andrew from Poole

Luckily we are within walking distance of Lake Yard . What a fantastic place. Sitting in their restuarant right by the water you have one of the best views in Poole. We had a fantastic meal 2 nights ago. A special mention for the belly pork with black pudding bon bons and black garlic mash! Couldn't quite manage a desert but the Calypso Coffees were wonderful. The service as ever was faultless. The staff are so friendly and basically are very good at their job. There is a wonderful relaxed atmosphere there too and they have a lovely bar if you just want a drink. We often pop in for coffee after walking the dog but will definitely be going back again soon for dinner.

I came here with some friends who are currently members, the food and the place itself was nice enough but the staff and management need some major adjustments. All the staff behind the bar were definitely underage, there was only one member of staff that looked over the age of 14! They all had a scent of alcohol and cigarettes which is very unprofessional in my opinion, especially as an exclusive place which is members only! Also a side note, the staff should not be moaning about their managers and coworkers when there are customers in earshot! Although I heard one member of staff saying they had worked a 12 hour shift with no break and I’m sure this is illegal so will not be returning whic... Visualizza piatti
