"Pros: Cosy furnished, (too large selection of very tasty dishes and drinks. Selection between meat dishes, vegetarian and partly vegan dishes. Children's chair available. "I've been trying to get back to the worth of things, the home of the barber beer. the impressive brewery castle can already be seen from the autobahn. Unfortunately no more beer is brewed here for a few years. that took over the forstenberg brewery. but in the local it is naturally gifted. ins restaurant riegeler stammhaus meyer, named after the brewery founder, we will return with pleasure. we like to eat the tasty, fried in the pan, panned carved with the crispy pommes and mixed salate. positiw, that one can choose between one and two carvings, which makes a price difference of 4 euro. Often you get two of them from the front, this is usually too much for me. in the cozy beer garden, served by two friendly and diligent, young men, we felt very comfortable, and for herr b. there was also a glass barber beer."

"-Fleisch: ausgezeichnete, gehobene Qualität! Der Koch versteht definitiv sein Handwerk. Vor allem wer öfter hier essen war weiss seine Fähigkeiten zu schätzen. Das Fleisch ist auch von der Portionsgröße her absolut angemessen und stets wie gewünscht! 10/10-Salate: gefühlt gab es früher mehr Auswahl aber im allgemeinen lässt sich sagen: immer frisch und gut zusammengestellt, zum Fleisch passend. Portionen auch sehr üppig. Das Dressing ist ebenso nicht zu aufdringlich und angenehm! 8,5/10-Getränke: ich würde es als Standardmäßig gutes Sortiment bezeichnen, nichts besonderes, aber auch nichts auszusetzen.-Service und Ambiente: Seeeeehr klein innen (man kann auch draussen sitzen). Ich empfehle jedoch innen zu sitzen, denn: gerade durch die kleine, gedrängte Staffelung der Tische in Kombination mit der urigen Einrichtung und dem alten Flair entsteht eine ganz besondere, überaus gemütliche Atmosphäre, aus der man, wenn man einmal Platz genommen hat, eigentlich gar nicht mehr ausbrechen möchte! Sehr schön! Hinzu kommt der ausgezeichnete nette Service der Bedienung, die stets zuvorkommend dem Wohl des Gastes Sorge trägt. klare 10/10Fazit: wen es hierhin verschlägt, ist definitiv Fleischliebhaber. Hier kommt man so richtig auf seine Kosten. Das Highlight ist meiner Meinung nach jedoch das besondere Ambiente der Alten Schmiede!"

"Nach dem Frankreich-Urlaub haben wir Halt gemacht mit dem Wohnmobil in Kenzingen. Wir sind in die Stadt gelaufen und beim Hotel-Restaurant Beller gefragt ob sie zwei Plätze für uns haben und Sie hatten welche. Wir wurden von einer sehr freundlichen Bedienung empfangen und betreut. Wir bekamen ein tolles dunkles Weizen und super gebratene Schnitzel mit Pommes und Salat (darauf hatten wir Heißhunger nach Frankreich). Das Fleisch sehr zart, Pommes und Salat sehr lecker. Und immer war die freundliche Bedienung um uns bemüht. Dieses Lokal kann ich guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen. Wenn ich wieder hier bin komme ich auf jeden Fall wieder."

"Das Ambiente in der großen Glashalle ist ganz nett. Das mediterrane Getue ist allerdings FAKE. Wenn selbst die einheimischen und die Carte dominierenden Bratkartoffeln verbrannt, und das Hirschragout der Tageskarte lauwarm auf eiskaltem Teller serviert wird, möchte man dem Chef de la cuisine dann doch nur noch eine qualifizierte Umschulung zu Lasten der Rentenversicherung empfehlen. Die Organisation dieses Betriebes ist chaotisch, die Wartezeiten waren bei mehreren Besuchen IMMER zu lang."
