"My experience at this restaurant was negative. I dined alone because my husband doesn't like French cuisine, and I was disappointed with the staff. The waiter was unprofessional and unenthusiastic, while the server who brought me my food was unfriendly and seemed to dislike her job. She rarely smiled and was difficult to understand when she described the menu. My husband and I are experienced food enthusiasts who have dined at top restaurants around the world, so we can quickly assess the quality of a restaurant and its staff. Unfortunately, the food was also subpar. It was a waste of both time and money. Despite my dissatisfaction, I still left a 20% tip, which I now regret. I will not be returning to this restaurant and will inform my hairdresser, who recommended it to me, that it is poorly managed. If the late Joel, the former owner, could see what has become of his establishment, he would surely be disappointed."

Food wasn’t as good as expected . Dishes we ordered had flat taste except for foeigras. The British sommelier’s service was not up to professional standard to be expected from in the high end restaurant , rather in the average pub.

These guys really know what they are doing. Service is attentive but unobtrusive. Food is magnificent. The tasting menu allows you to try a different range of foods and just watching the chef's do their work is a treat in itself. A brilliant place for a special occasion certain to be memorable!

Oh my goodness. This restaurant is not cheap, but if you take advantage of the pre or post-theatre special, it's definitely worth it. I absolutely adored the Parmesan foam and foie gras mousse amuse bouche. The mashed potatoes, famous for being nearly all butter, were also unforgettable. I loved it so much that they even brought me a second serving, which was very generous of them. I can't wait to save up enough money to go back and try the full a la carte menu!
