"I am usually skeptical about hotel restaurants, but that was a definitely above average experience. We were on the way around the hotel and decided not to disturb back to Schwemlingen or Merzig for dinner. So it was the hotel restaurant! The interior is quite small, with a small bar area and tables for maybe 12-16 people in total, but if the weather gets nice, they seem to open a large outdoor area with a ton of additional tables. Everything was super well maintained, and the decor was classic, but with some cute touches like the gnome size table centers. While the menu itself is not super long, there was enough variety, and Whet we had (and seen on other tables) was excellent. The frying salad plate wit roasted putenbrust (colored salad with turkey breast) was an essential salad; like a good German mixed salad he had not only salad, but also sour wort, red cabbage law, shredded carrot slave and other sorted toppings. Throw in a healthy part of the good turkey breast and you have a real meal. If you want to eat less healthy, the black medals with champignons in cream sauce (pork zartloin with mushroom gravy) are another good choice. The pig was well cooked and tasteful, and the heaviness was not overwhelming. In addition, the service was very friendly. While the menu was only in German, the waiter offered to translate everything we could not read, and he gave some recommendations for things to do in the area. All in all a surprisingly good choice, and if we are back in the area, we would definitely stay here and eat again!"

Essen im Restaurant ist gut und preiswert! Wie auch das Frühstück.Zuerst war ich skeptisch, doch als ich das Essen vor mir hatte und kostete, war ich echt überrascht. Sehr gut!

Während des Hotel-Aufenthaltes habe ich 2x dort gegessen. das Rahmschnitzel war top, der Schwenker mir etwas zu sehr durchgebraten. Aber das ist Geschmackssache. Insgesamt gutes Essen zu gutem Preis. Empfehlenswert.

Ottimi i gamberoni ai ferri e la bistecca di maiale ai funghi. Cena accompagnata da ottima birra e da una speciale grappa "Mirabella" gusto prugna un po' aspra ma ideale per digerire gamberi e maiale.Grande cortesia del personale e velocità nel servizio. Visualizza piatti

Steak war nicht medium, sondern durch. Geschmacklich war es für einige okay, ich konnte meines nicht essen. Soßen waren nicht frisch zubereitet und Pommes zu kross, ohne Innenleben. Fisch hatte wirklich dicke Gräten. Schwarzer Rand von Tellern voller Wasserflecken, der Boden schmutzig. Ich habe das Gefühl hier fehlt das Auge für Details oder der Fokus liegt vielleicht woanders. Sehr schade, weil das Personal wirklich freundlich war.

Our first impression was a disappointment as we drove to the hotel and found that it was right on a main road that you obviously do not see when you look at the photo on their website! We checked at the tiny reception, we were not told that they were a hotel lift, so we spent our luggage in our rooms. Due to the long Conona period we received the newly renovated rooms at the rear of the building with an adjoining balcony. The rooms were pleasantly decorated, large flat screen TV on the wall, fresh towels daily and free Wi-Fi was available.
