Le Bistrot - Piatti

Great service! Friendly. Food was just food. Bread was crispy. Beer was cold and delicious. Flatbread pizza was good.

The meat was in a poor quality. The pasta and the risotto tasted like they were out of a box, we returned them to the chef (if there is one) and yet they expected us to pay for it.

This was the perfect lunch for me and my friends. We started off with some great Alsatian wine with a great food as well! Would definitely recommend for a drink or a delicious cheap meal. Visualizza piatti

Several restaurants share an open terrace and the best I can say about this restaurant is it's location. The food was average to good but quite expensive, possible due to the location. The waiter was good and tried hard with my very limited French.

Bar super sympa. et de très belles rencontres. Nous sommes venus à Strasbourg fêter l'anniversaire d'une amie , et nous avons étés incroyablement bien accueillis. Le barman nous a fait rêver avec ses shots de milles saveurs. Nous avons passé un très bon moment, qui ,malheureusement était trop court ! J'ai gardé en souvenir la bouteille de rhum banane vide que le barman m'a gentillement offert ! Après ce confinement je vous conseilles de faire un petit détour au QG

My business partners and I took an evening to see Strasbourg. as we walked near the cathedral we found a nice open area with several outdoor options for dinner. We selected Le Bistrot and were quickly seated by our waitor. We each had a few glasses of wine which were good. We started with escargot and amazing bread. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. Portions were good for the cost, as a group we should have ordered a bottle of wine rather then by the glass but that was our choice.I would suggest this restaurant to others traveling to Strasbourg to see the cathedral on its 1,000 year aniversary. What a treat to sit in the open air in central Strasbourg, enjoying good company and pleasant, if slightly pricey, food. Place Gayot which Le Bistrot shares with a number of other restaurants is clearly a magnet for tourists but on a fine late May evening it was a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. I liked the friendly service and how the informal yet efficient waiting staff did everything. The food was the usual Strasbourg fare - regional specialities and more international dishes. The portions were healthy and the Caesar salad was massive. Drinks were on the pricey side. In summary, lovely location, pleasant food, good service.

Here on a recommendation from our food tour guide, our party of four arrived on time for the reservation that I made by emailing the day before. We were immediately seated at our table and a waiter took our drink orders while we looked over the menu. Beer for me, Alsatian white wine for my friends. Dinner all around. Fish and chips was a good portion of fish with a massive pile of crispy chips. A tarte with cheese and bacon. (And if you don 't know, a French tarte is basically a flatbread pizza. I needed a quick meal just before leaving to the airport. I had already seen this square, which was near my hotel, and had liked it. The square has several restaurants, but it's like a courtyard surrounded by buildings, with no motor traffic passing by. Just lovelly.I arrived early and choosed the day menu, a melon and smoked hamm salad as starter and a stake with mushrooms sauce as main course. Both were well cooked and tasty. The price, around 15€ for the starter and main course, was OK. Still sometime after, people arriving to other tables when choosing that option were being informed it was over and were not given another choice apart from the "a la carte menu".Service was OK, friendly a...
