"very nice location at the foot of the lighthouse, large terrace. despite the lack of clarity and our arrival without reservation, we had a table quite quickly. Obviously, a lot of fish-based dishes, we are on the island of re after all. hard for vegetarians. in this restaurant, we had only one choice: vegetarian salad. the crudities were unfortunately without flavor (tomates, cucumbers, beets, green salad) and we stayed on our hunger. dessert ice was therefore welcome. Cuts are less fat than we could wait. In short, nothing unforgetable for us and if you are vegetarians, avoid the whale lighthouse for lunch (the maps of other restaurants were as little or not at all vegetarian dish.)"

pleasant decor restaurant, frozen food served in the menu at 15 €; rugged service, specific to the island of re in summer, but for the least effective.

As its name suggests, the restaurant is located at the foot of the whale lighthouse. It is a simple place, but the kitchen is efficient. We opted for the salmon tartar and then the bacon bar. These dishes were very good. The service was also at the height. In summary, we had a very good time for dinner.

I'm not good. the mussels were dry with the white wine not cooked. Let's have some beef tartars for some and some salmon tartars for me not prepared. Frankly, I don't think there's a cook in this restaurant. The boss had a dirty shirt and pants.Woefully, the servers were better and were very friendly. Even the bread was old, and I'll never stop here again. Visualizza piatti

It's a classic address of my mom who lives on the island and I confirm it's a nice restaurant. The kitchen is fresh and good, from the seafood tray to the intercoast. Nice desserts too. prices are very correct, even in the middle of August. the location at the foot of the lighthouse is top and as it is the most at the end of the pedestrian driveway, there are less tourists! Then why 4 stars instead of 5? just for the fries! delicious but not home.

We returned the desiccated marine mussels and had no mariners. served on the plate so without juice and the white wine was probably added directly to the plate. we have been changed without difficulty and probably reserved to the following customers (more marine mussels) we have opted for a more standard tartar. We preferred to give up dessert. seasonal staff is friendly and should the boss change shirts and pants before the service and better watch the condition of his hair! I'm sorry, but his pace doesn't make you want dinner. He's a good person to tell him someday.

"fell there totally by chance. menu at 26,50 € allevious.Home and cordial placement.Mise in the mouth (cold and desired as such): purée (or soup, or soup, the word escapes me) of undeniably fresh peas, covered with a mint/vanilla jelly and surmounted with an oyster espuma. surprising and very good. my half, who hates peas, has only seen fire and has finished mouth beef.Inputs: choice between the inevitable half-dozen oysters and a gravlax salmon accompanied by a beet decline. I am gladly ostreivore but, in view of the dishes I saw pass, it was a shame not to honor a cooked entrance. Note, however, that the oysters were served, among other things, with a butter manned to the eslote to fall.To return to the salmon and its beet variant, the perfect gravlax. beets, of all kinds (reds, yellow, chioggia - the prettiest of beets) processed in raw, chips, roasts, growers and discounts make the exception of this dish. the association betterave/saumon, relatively well known, works perfectly. The main dish: merlan, a decline in celery rave (the chef likes visibly the declines) and candied pears.Merlan, cooked on skin, perfect. Treated celery in tuned, fried and purée, not easy as vegetable, perfect. pears were very well confined to algae butter, nothing too salty at home. the sauce based on the reduction of the ridges of the so-called butter-mounted fish, excellent. Dessert: raspberry duo and guanaja chocolate: peaty, creamy guanaja, candied raspberries, fresh and sorbet. Being not a dessert specialist from a distance, to eat only 3 times a year, I would just say: very good and I don't especially like chocolate.Mignardises offered very pleasant as well. In short, a lot of work and very, very good work engaged on products not necessarily qualified as noble and not necessarily easy.Bravo! extremely well played to put on products rather "good market" treated excelleously. Add to this a very professional service, presentation of dishes, and everything and everything. One thing to say: keep giving pleasure to people as you do, ladies. That's good for what we cook for, right?"
