Le Capharnaum - Piatti

We found the place by accident but were pleasantly surprised. its a bit off the beaten track and nothing too fancy but the food was good and at 13 euro for 3 courses and some wine you cant really complain. The service was very friendly and efficient.

Living here all year round I appreciate having Le Capharnaum in the village. The atmosphere is always warm and friendly and although it doesn't position itself as the best restaurant around you always get a choice of good wholesome food and wine at very reasonable prices

The lunch menu consisted of a choice of two entres, crudite salad with avocado, tomato, radish, mushrooms, or local ham. Both starters were quite large. We had faux fillet and Toulouse sausage both came with fries and a chocolate mousse and apple tart to finish. Each meal included a quarter liter of wine, good value at 13 Euros.

My fiancee and I found this lovely little restaurant almost by accident. There are signs on the main street leading you there, but it is beautifully hidden away. It has a limited menu that changes daily but the standard of fare is excellent (we are looking forward to testing all the daily offerings! . Definitely 'a go back ' venue.

Hidden away on a side street in Saint Antonin Noble Val...we had been trying to get a table here for some time - but its popularity meant a full house on every occasion. Tucked away in a courtyard is Le Carpharnaum. Anywhere that has a friendly cat asleep on the chair of the table of four is alright! €13 a head for 3 course meal, wine and bread. Starter choice of meat, lettuce and tomato or ham and lettuce. Then chicken and chips or duck and chips followed by a choice of desserts. With bottle of house rosé too. Pleasant staff, nice location although had to sit inside due to showers of rain!

Do not waste your evening or money here. Do not go to this awful restaurant. Staff are unfriendly. Food is average at best, it is in somebody's back courtyard with no attempt to make it a pleasant place to eat and their idea of a cheese dessert is shown in this photo no bread or biscuits, just 3 foil wrapped pieces of cheese....., I can only assume all the good reviews are from friends or family. Apparently the restaurant is for sale so perhaps this explains the complete indifference to quality or service??

It's a bit hide, but it's part of his beauty. It's a perfect place for eat an amazing diner for a good price. There are different opcions for different amounts of hungry,so the price depends on you. The highest, if I remember it well, is about 20€ and includes first, second, dessert and a 1/4 of wine (bread and water too). I've chosen the option with 2 plates and it has been more than enough. The bread taste very good and the dish garnish was hand mashed potatoes (pleasant surprise and not very usual) The owners are very kind and the atmosphere is lovely. The service is good and quick.
